Another one of Marvel's most iconic superheroes is being added to the world of Fortnite as an equippable skin, as Epic Games is allowing some players to get their hands on this new Daredevil and more Marvel skins before they hits the item shop in the Marvel Knockout Super Series event. While the Daredevil skin won't give the player-character any crazy martial arts skills or enhanced situational awareness, strolling around The Island as the man who knows no fear is sure to give players a boost in confidence.

Daredevil is the latest of an ever-expanding roster of Marvel characters who have made their way into Fortnite. Season 4 of Fortnite alone has seen the introduction of 10 different Marvel characters including Iron Man, Wolverine, and Groot. Eight of the new skins can be obtained by completing this season's battle pass, while Silver Surfer and Blade are purchasable through the game's item shop. The Daredevil skin is the 11th Marvel character to join the Nexus War, and there is still more to come.

Epic Games announced a new Fortnite tournament, alongside the reveal of the Daredevil skin and the promise of more Marvel skins to come. The Marvel Knockout Super Series is a series of four tournaments featuring the Marvel Knockout limited-time mode. Marvel Knockout replaces the traditional gameplay of Fortnite and replaces it with hero vs hero combat. Players will use superpowers instead of weapons, and each team that has the most eliminations at the end of a round moves on to the next one. While the Daredevil skin will land in the item shop at a later date, the top teams in each region will receive the Daredevil skin for free before its official release.

The Daredevil Cup will take place on Wednesday, October 14, and will be the first of four Marvel Knockout tournaments. Each tournament will be themed around a yet-to-be-released Marvel hero, and each tournament will reward the top-placing teams with that hero's skin. Additionally, players who participate in all four Marvel Knockout tournaments will receive an exclusive Nexus War Glider.

Knowing that there will be at least three more Marvel heroes announced this season makes it hard to wait for their reveal. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 has been a dream come true for Marvel fans, and each weekly update must feel like Christmas morning. Week after week, new Marvel characters land on the shores of The Island, and the only question left to ask is who aren't Epic Games going to include in the world's most popular battle royale.
