As Fortnite Season 7 enters Week 11, a new challenge requires players to dance with an Alien Parasite. Season 7’s challenges have kept with the Alien Invasion theme, and the introduction of Alien Parasites has brought a lot of fun new challenges to the game. Alien Parasites are small, purple creatures that appear all around the map in Season 7. They spawn from Alien Eggs. If players get too close to one of these green eggs, Alien Parasites can hatch in hordes of over a dozen and will try to attach onto the player if they get too close.

To complete all of Week 11’s tasks, players will have to dance while infected with an Alien Parasite. Here’s how to find Alien Parasites, get infected by one, and dance with it to complete this mission.

When a Parasite attaches onto a player, it will bring the player's health down to 60 HP (this doesn’t affect their shields). While a Parasite is attached, players can still move around and fire weapons like normal. In addition, when a player has a Parasite attached to them, they’re able to move faster, jump higher, and receive protection from headshots. If players want to remove an Alien Parasite, they can either jump in water, walk through fire, or enter a prop. Parasites have 75 Health, while Alien Eggs have 60 Health, and players get a warning before the Parasite attaches to them. This means players should be able to kill most Alien Parasites before they attach.

How to Dance with an Alien Parasite in Fortnite

Fortnite Alien Parasite and Egg

To dance with an Alien Parasite in Fortnite, players will first have to get infected by one. This can be done by approaching an Alien Parasite and not killing it before it attaches. The challenge states players must dance with the parasite at Sunny Shores, Lazy Lake, or Pleasant Park, so players can go to any of these locations to find the parasite. Once the Alien attaches, players just have to dance to complete the quest.

To use a dance emote, all players have to do is press the B button and select the emote. On Console, players must press the down arrow on the D-Pad. On Mobile, players have to tap the ‘I’ speech bubble in the top right corner of the screen.

Completing this challenge grants 30,000 XP that will help players level up their Season 7 Battle Pass. Thus, players who want to get as much XP as possible to unlock all the Battle Pass rewards should make sure they’re completing this challenge.
