The Crew Membership in Fortnite is a monthly subscription that offers a variety of rewards each month, including new skins and V-Bucks. The May Crew Membership starts on April 30, 2022, at 8:00 pm ET. Crew Memberships can be started or canceled at any time. Some rewards are received when the new month starts, but others can be collected monthly on the first day of the billing cycle. If the subscription isn't canceled, then players will be charged on the same day every month and receive their rewards accordingly.
Crew Memberships are separate from the Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. However, the Battle Pass is included in the Crew Membership, so even if players only subscribe for one month, they'll have access to the Battle Pass for the duration of the season. If the Battle Pass was purchased previously, a refund of 950 V-Bucks will be given as soon as players subscribe to the Crew Membership. The amount will be automatically added to the player's account and can be used to unlock a variety of rewards.
The Crew Membership currently costs $11.99 per month. The Battle Pass costs at least $7.99 if players don't already have V-Bucks. Those intending to participate in the Battle Pass for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 may want to consider purchasing the Crew Membership instead to receive some additional rewards, including 1,000 V-Bucks per month. The 1,000 V-Bucks are awarded on the first day of the billing cycle each month.
Every Confirmed Reward For The May Crew Membership In Fortnite
The May 2022 Crew Pack will be active at about 8:00 pm ET on April 30, 2022. The rewards include the new Southpaw outfit, the Counterpunch Back Bling, and the Arc Flail pickaxe. Unlike the V-Bucks, these items aren't affected by the start date for the player's Crew Membership. If the subscription is started earlier in the day on April 30, then the rewards for the April Crew Membership in Fortnite will also be unlocked.
Along with the outfit and weapons, players will receive 1,000 V-Bucks on their billing date, as well as loading screen bonuses, lobby track bonuses, and other rewards when the new Crew Pack is active. Excluding the V-Bucks, all rewards will be unlocked on April 30 as soon as the new Crew Membership month starts, but the time will depend on where players are located. For some, the membership will start on May 1 instead of April 30.
Even though the May Crew Membership Pack will be active as of April 30, 2022, at 8:00 pm ET, players can purchase it at any time throughout the month before the next one is released. If the Crew Membership is purchased after it's released, then Fortnite players will receive their rewards as soon as they start their subscription. The May 2022 Crew Membership for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 includes a few exclusive rewards and some worthwhile perks.
