One Legendary Quest in Week 7 of Fortnite Season 7 tasks players with entering homes in Pleasant Park and Craggy Cliffs and grabbing some records to play for the Alien Parasite babies Bushranger is looking to care for. During Season 7 of Fortnite, the Legendary Quests are not only useful for earning extra XP each week toward the Battle Pass, but also allow players to participate in the story of this season. Each week, different NPCs have offered different solutions to the Alien invasion, from welcoming them to the island to luring them to the Farm to eliminate them and hijack and fly their UFOs. There have also been multiple side stories told in the Fortnite Legendary Quests, including the disappearance of Farmer Steel. This week, Bushranger provides all the Legendary Quests, and she has decided the best way to deal with the Aliens is to care for and nurture their offspring, the Alien Parasites. One way she hopes to do that is by playing music for them while they are still in their eggs.
Players will need to collect two records from either Pleasant Park or Craggy Cliffs to complete this Fortnite Legendary Quest. It will be easier for players to find records at Pleasant Park, as there are five total locations compared to Craggy Cliffs' three, but either named location will work. All Records are located in milk crates inside homes, making them somewhat easier to locate. For completing this challenge, players will earn 30,000 XP toward the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass and unlock the fourth stage of the Week 7 Legendary Quest storyline. All Record Locations in Fortnite Season 7
To collect records in Week 7 of Fortnite Season 7, players will want to select either Pleasant Park or Craggy Cliffs as their destination. Both are found in the northern region of the map. While they can technically pick up one record in each location, sticking to one spot will help them complete this task more efficiently. There are five records in Pleasant Park, mostly in the northern region, and three in Craggy Cliffs, on opposite ends of the POI.
Because both locations are named and thus often popular landing spots in Fortnite Season 7, players may consider choosing their location, then landing somewhat near that spot, but not directly in the middle of it. This way, they can gear up and prepare to face any opponents. Alternatively, both named locations are likely to have plenty of loot, so it is up to players how they handle the possibility of encountering a threat.
The Records can be found in the following spots on the Fortnite map:
Pleasant Park
- Inside the first room on the left, in the brick house on the northwest corner of Pleasant Park.
- Inside the first room on the left, in the red brick house on the north-central side of Pleasant Park.
- In the first room on the right, next to the TV, in the grey brick house on the northeast corner of Pleasant Park.
- By the bookshelf and open window on the upper floor of the blue house on the southeast side of Pleasant Park, right next to the soccer pitch.
- To the left of the front door of the white brick house on the west side of Pleasant Park.
Craggy Cliffs
- Next to a table in the hut on the cliff on the northwestern corner of Craggy Cliffs.
- Inside the garage with the blue, windowed door, attached to the yellow house, on the northwestern side of Craggy Cliffs.
- Inside the garage with the blue door attached to the building on the southeast side of Craggy Cliffs.
To collect a record, players will simply need to approach and interact with it. Once players have two, the challenge will register as complete, and they will earn their 30,000 XP. They will also unlock the next stage in Bushranger's questline, challenging them to stoke campfires near different hatcheries.
While this quest should not take players long to complete, it may be a good idea to collect Records in Team Rumble Mode, despite its recent changes. This way, players can respawn and continue the quest if they are eliminated while searching Pleasant Park and Craggy Cliffs.
