Out of the two new healing items in Fortnite Chapter 3, Med-Mist is the best addition. Guzzle Juice has its perks, but it doesn't quite stack up to the Med-Mist's. Players will want to make room for this item as a regular inventory choice because its benefits could save them in a sticky situation.

Fortnite's latest update ushered in Chapter 3, and with it, two new healing items: Med-Mist and Guzzle Juice. Each item is designed to heal the player, but each has its unique perk, which makes choosing one over the other difficult. Med-Mist heals for a total of 150 HP, and once sprayed, players' health consecutively goes up 5 HP each time. Similarly, Guzzle Juice adds HP back to the player over time, but it can only be used once and heals 100 HP. While both healing items help players during fights or caught in the storm, Med-Mist, overall, is most beneficial for all circumstances.

Throughout its history, some interesting healing mechanics have been integrated into Fortnite, like Chapter 2's Wolverine healing power, which is no longer present. Similarly, Chapter 3's Med-Mist and Guzzle Juice add new healing mechanics to the mix. Med-Mist is the better of the two because it grants more HP and has a prolonged amount of time for use, which gives players a better chance at a victory royale.

Fortnite - Med-Mist's Perks Make It Better Than Guzzle Juice

Fortnite Chapter 3 team fighting and healing.

One of the most crucial elements to winning a Fortnite match is having more HP than an opponent. And, while the Guzzle Juice can get a player back to full 100 HP, Med-Mist does more; it restores the entire health bar and keeps 50 HP in the can for later use, which makes the item critical during Fortnite's endgame victory royale. Also, if a player gets stuck in the storm and has some distance to travel, Med-Mist's longevity will get them out with more HP, and, if there's enough left, back to full HP. Another perk lacking in Guzzle Juice is that it doesn't heal other players. Med-Mist, on the other hand, actually does, making the item twice as beneficial for HP restoration.

Another perk of the Med-Mist is how quickly it restores health - five HP per second versus the other's two HP per second. Additionally, Med-Mist can be sprayed while on the run and used sparingly, depending on the situation. If, for example, a player only needs 20 HP to make it out of a storm in Fortnite, they can use that much and save the rest. Once the Guzzle juice gets popped, it gets used entirely, regardless of the health needed.

Many new elements popped up in Fortnite Chapter 3, but of the new healing items, Med-Mist is the best addition. When it comes to arenas and competitions, players will likely keep Med-Mist in their inventory over Guzzle Juice. It has clear advantages that give a better chance to survive the storm and battles and should be prioritized by players over Guzzle Juice.
