A new seasonal Fortnite challenge requires players to find IO equipment locations in multiple locations. While season 1 of chapter 3 still has a few months under its belt, time will fly before players know it. The objective for many Fortnite players is to complete the Battle Pass before the season is over and one of the challenges includes interacting with IO equipment. There are many different ways to do this, like completing challenges, collecting kills, and interacting with different objects on Fortnite Island. New seasonal challenges are added to the game every week, and clearing them out will reward tons of XP towards this goal.
Many players might have already reached tier 100 of the Battle Pass, but there's more to unlock beyond this level. Fortnite's Super Battle Pass Styles for each of the main skins this season are also available, including a Negative version of the Spider-Man skin. After reaching level 100 in Fortnite, it becomes increasingly difficult to reach a new level, and completing challenges is still the best way. For this seasonal challenge, there will be three different IO equipment locations on the map.
Fortunately, players just need to interact with one IO piece of equipment to complete this Fortnite challenge. With there being three locations and players only needing to find one, it will be much easier to complete this challenge due to the lack of foot traffic. Although this is a battle royale, it's important always to remain wary of enemy players. Regardless of where players land, they should first focus on finding a basic weapon. Once players have a weapon and are in the clear, they can scout these three locations to find IO equipment in Fortnite.
IO Equipment Locations in Fortnite Chapter 3
- To the east of Sleepy Sound, nearby the ocean.
- To the east of Logjam Lumberyard.
- Directly to the southeast of Greasy Grove and southwest of Rocky Reels.
Since players only need to pick one, it's recommended to land in the locations to the north of the map. Since there are two different IO equipment in this section of the map, it'll give the player options to choose which one they'd like to go to. First, try to find Spider-Man Web-Shooters at the start of the match to get around easier. Sometimes, places are just too dangerous to wander around normally. Not only that, but IO Guards will be in these locations, and players will need to take them out first. After they have all been defeated, the player will receive a call to break some nearby equipment. It will be labeled on the map, so players will have to break it with the pickaxe to complete the challenge.
