Buttercake Klombos is a new and adorable creature in Fortnite. Wildlife has been a staple in the Fortnite universe season chapter 2, season 6, with the introduction of boars, frogs, and dinosaurs. Since then, new creatures have been added and removed to keep the game interesting. The latest of this batch is Buttercake Klombos, a large dinosaur monster that will act passively towards the player if unprovoked. However, if the player does attack it, the Klombo will become incredibly lethal, and it can kill a player within just a few hits.

Finding Klombo will be helpful for players looking to level up fast in Fortnite. With its introduction, the game also added Milestone, Seasonal, and Weekly challenges pertaining to the large dinosaur. Klombos love to eat their favorite food, Klomberries, a new consumable item that can be found all around the map. Eating them will provide players with a small HP recovery. Although feeding Klombo some Klomberries could result in players getting free rewards.

Buttercake Klombos like to spawn near water sources and four of them will randomly appear near these water bodies at the start of every match. Klombos are fairly large and will appear on the map as the player gets closer to it. The best place to land to find a Klombo would be near Chonker's Speedway. In this Fortnite Named Location, players will be able to find an NPC that will sell Klomberries for 25 gold bars. Apart from water bodies, Klombos can also spawn in the desert directly next to Chonker's Speedway.

Fortnite Landing Season 8.webp

Throwing a Klomberry close to a Klombo will result in the dinosaur eating it. After eating it, the Klombo will shoot out a random reward from its blowhole. Klombos are vastly different than the other wildlife creatures in the game as they cannot be tamed, controlled and will not follow the player after interacting with it. Klombos will only attack if they have been attacked first.

The newest Milestone Challenge for the season requires players to feed many Klomberries to Klombo. Like the other Milestone Challenges, they are meant to be completed slowly throughout the season. Players can use the Spider-Man Web-Shooters as a reversal tool as it allows players to swing off surfaces and get around faster. Chapter 3, season 1, is scheduled to conclude on March 19th, leaving just a few months to max out the battle pass. It's unknown how long the Buttercake Klombos will remain in the game, so players must clear out these challenges as quickly as possible.
