Fortnite has been the ultimate destination for pop-culture references in gaming, having featured one too many million-dollar franchises. It is not surprising to find Star Wars engaging in several tie-ins with Fortnite for promoting properties like The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian.
With the upcoming The Book of Boba Fett drawing a lot of anticipation, Fortnite has announced that Boba Fett will be available in the game soon. In the past, a wide variety of Star Wars items have been featured in the game ranging from starships to character weapons. Hence, Fett's armor and weaponry might just engage more players.
Boba Fett
Boba Fett will be available as a skin from Dec. 24 on, a few days before the debut of the bounty hunter's own Disney+ Star Wars series, The Book of Boba Fett.
Even though the costume hasn't dropped in the Item Store yet, it is bound to excite fans. Despite his limited role in the original trilogy, Boba Fett has been a cult favorite. Further, the positive reaction to Mandalorian characters like Grogu in Fortnite implies that Boba Fett will be in great demand in December.
Kylo's Cape
Kylo's cape is available as a back bling in the item shop. When applied to Kylo Ren, the cape can be worn with or without the hood while the cape appears hoodless on other characters. For the former, the cape also sports the symbol of the First Order.
Even though Kylo Ren is available as a skin along with other characters from the Star Wars sequel trilogy, the cape is an added bonus that adds to the menacing nature of the character. Hoods have been an integral part of Sith lords' wardrobes, particularly in the case of Palpatine. So it is not surprising to find Kylo wearing his iconic hooded cape.
The Child
Part of The Mandalorian's popularity comes from the creature known as the Child, aka Baby Yoda, aka Grogu. Such is its legacy that the character was even featured in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. The Child appears in a mobile pram and is available as a pet in Battle Royale.
More specifically, the Child can be acquired as a reward from level 100 of the Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass. So far, the Child is the only pet in Fortnite that comes with its own built-in emote (the hover pram control emote).
Sith Trooper Blaster
The ST-W48 blaster has been mostly used by the troopers of Sith Eternals' Final Order, debuting in The Rise of Skywalker. With an auto-fire mode and a quarrel-bolt launcher, the weapon was a powerful and stylish update on the other blaster rifles that are associated with Sith soldiers.
The trusted weapon of the elite First Order soldiers, the Sith Trooper Blaster is a Back Bling that is coupled with the Sith Trooper Outfit. The red-and-black color scheme gels well with the Sith Trooper costume and adds a certain vibrance compared to the other iconic Star Wars weapons that are mostly metallic grey or black in color.
Razor Crest
Razor Crest is a relatively newer addition to the Star Wars pantheon as it was introduced in The Mandalorian instead of the movies. The ST-70 Assault Ship was mainly used by series protagonist Din Djarin but was later destroyed by Moff Gideon's forces.
In Fortnite, the Razor Crest can be attained as a reward in level 8 of Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass. Interestingly, a crashed version of Razor Crest can also be found on the map, buried in the sand.
Zorii Bliss
Zorii Bliss, the leader of the Spice Runners of Kjimi, is a character introduced in The Rise of Skywalker as a neutral player in the war between the First Order and the Resistance. Apart from her combat skills, she mostly relies on her two E-851 blaster pistols.
The Zorii Bliss Outfit can be purchased from the Item Store. It is a truly unique costume retaining the character's sliding helmet and the aforementioned pistols.
First Order TIE Fighter
The Galactic Empire's fast and agile starfighters are powered by Twin Ion Engines (owing to their name). Appearing in a wide variety of Star Wars films, shows, and other related media, the TIE fighters have become an integral part of the franchise's aerospace.
To obtain a TIE Fighter glider in Fortnite, players can either purchase it from the Item Shop or obtain it through a purchase of the Starfighters Pack.
Rey's Quarterstaff
Rey goes on to wield a lightsaber in the Star Wars sequel trilogy but she starts off her adventures with her ever-reliable quarterstaff. She salvaged the staff from the wreckage pits of Jakku and used it for melee combat. The staff was later broken down into parts to build Rey's lightsaber.
Available as a tool in the Item Store, the quarterstaff is one of the most identifiable items to come out of the Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration. Instead of fighting, the staff doubles as a harvesting tool in the game. This is true to the initial purpose of the weapon as Rey indeed used it to scavenge for waste on Jakku.
The Millennium Falcon
Described as the "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy," the Millennium Falcon was Han Solo's trusted spaceship that played an integral role in both the original and the sequel trilogies. As the ship enters its Hyperdrive stage, the Millennium Falcon becomes more than just a piece of junk.
In Fortnite's Battle Royale mode, the vehicle is available as a Glider that can be obtained from the Winterfest Lodge. Any Star Wars fan would want to own the Falcon as it makes for an essential collector's item along with other iconic Star Wars aircraft like TIE fighters and X-Wing gliders.
Sith Trooper
The average white stormtrooper costume can be quite monotonous for Star Wars fans. Further, the stormtroopers have acquired a negative reputation because of their bad aim and bumbling antics. In the face of this, the Sith Troopers seem stronger and more stylish.
The red armor along with a blaster rifle can make for an exciting outfit. The Sith Trooper outfit can be purchased from either the item shop or Rise of Skywalker Pack.
