Former Teen Mom Jenelle Evans is thankful for "finding happiness" amid divorce from her husband David Eason. Jenelle seems to be trimming the fat in her life and toning up on positive choices which hopefully will set her life on a better course.

The Teen Mom 2 alum has had a tumultuous relationship with the public for the better part of this past year. This was not helped by her part in the animal cruelty case in which she lied to the police about her husband killing their dog and that came with MTV deciding to fire her from the hit show. The young entrepreneur recently announced her separation from her husband, David Eason, which gave fans justifiable hope for her future. Evans announced that she planned to separate from Eason in October through an Instagram post and moved out of the house that the two shared in North Carolina.

This Thanksgiving, Evans shared with Twitter what she was thankful for this holiday season. The Teen Mom 2 star tweeted a positive message to her followers which included a heart and turkey emoji, wishing them a happy turkey day. Even though the reality star was in the midst of a divorce from her disgruntled husband Evans told her followers that she was "finding happiness within [herself]" and was grateful for her amazing children - Jace, Kaiser, and her two-year-old daughter Ensley, who she shares with her soon to be ex-husband. The peaceful moment of bliss comes after the MTV personality obtained a temporary restraining order against Eason at the beginning of the month. Eason had consistently made threats towards his wife and had a history of erratic behavior. The father of two also was known for his stockpile of weapons in which he openly boasts he has. The mother of three told a judge that she was scared for her life and her children’s well-being. While Evans has the order, she holds full custody of the children and does not allow Eason to have contact with her or the kids. Eason was also not allowed to post anything about Evans on social media.

The Teen Mom is still trying to prove to America that she is a good mother. The North Carolina native’s goal is to move forward and start living a better, more stable life. Many fans believe that MTV let Evans go due mostly to Eason’s aggressive behavior and opinions. Viewers are now left to wonder if the network will decide to give Evans a second chance at redemption, allowing cameras back into her life to film.
