Pixar officially released the trailer for the Disney+ series Forky Asks A Question and it has the spork from Toy Story 4 asking some big questions about life. The character made his grand debut this summer in Toy Story 4 and instantly became a hit. Voiced by Tony Hale, the hilarious new character was created by young Bonnie from pieces of trash in her class and served as the core for the movie's plot and exploration of a toy's existence. Despite many believing a fourth installment of the franchise wasn't necessary, Toy Story 4 wound up breathing new life into the franchise for how it analyzed the life of a toy and growing older.

As with any successful part of a Disney property, the Mouse House decided to capitalize on it. A series dedicated to Forky, titled Forky Asks A Question, was announced a few months ago as part of the gigantic Disney+ library. The Pixar show will serve as an educational series for younger children, though it wouldn't be surprising if there were some more philosophical questions geared towards adults sprinkled throughout. Now, a trailer for the series has officially been revealed, which gives viewers a little more insight as to what to expect from the goofy spork.

Pixar released the first trailer for Forky Asks A Question, and it has the spork asking some very interesting things. The trailer opens up with brief glimpses at past Pixar films, such as Toy Story and Ratatouille, before diving into Sporky's very silly questions... including, "What is cheese?". It then goes on to ask some bigger questions, such as "what is a friend?" and "what is time?", along with showing some other beloved Toy Story characters trying to help him out. Considering how Forky's character was in Toy Story 4, it wouldn't be surprising if Pixar found a way to cater to viewers of all ages. Asking big questions, similar to how he did in the movie, could be interesting to dive into. Especially since it's technically a kid's show, there's a lot of room to be creative when discussing big topics. Although some of his questions are definitely more geared towards young children, such as the "what is cheese?" bit, there's an opportunity here to ask some important questions about life and bring some meaningful discussions to the table.

After all, that's a big reason why Pixar has found so much success over the years. They've always found a way to connect adults and children alike with their animated stories, and hopefully, they can keep that up with Forky. As goofy as this trailer is, it appears to have some potential as a series. Not only will kids have something new and fun to keep them distracted, but if done well, this show could really be something smart. So long as they tell stories that are meaningful and important to life in some way, the series could surely find some success. After all, if Forky was able to make a big enough impact in Toy Story 4, then Forky Asks A Question must have potential.
