With all the talent, it is easy to overlook the celebrity guest judges that many viewers forget were on the show.

Parker Posey

In the final episode of the first season of Bravo TV's Project Runway, "Finale," which aired in early 2005, designers were tasked with creating their 12-piece collection to be shown at New York Olympus Fashion Week. Serving as the guest judge was actress Parker Posey. Posey is most-known today for her recent role as June Harris/Dr. Smith in the Netflix sci-fi series, Lost In Space. At the time though, she was one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood.

She appeared as Danica Talos in Blade: Trinity, Jennifer Jolie in Scream 3, and Darla in Dazed and Confused. With Lost In Space concluded, viewers will soon be able to catch her as Freda Black in the upcoming HBO Max mini-series, The Staircase, starring Colin Firth, Sophie Turner, and Dane DeHaan set to premiere sometime in 2022.

Ivanka Trump

Project Runway had perhaps its most impressive group of judges in the episode titled "Designer's Best Friend" in season 3. This episode tasked designers with making an outfit and story for a dog and its owner with just $150. The judging panel consisted of Klum, Colombian journalist Nina Garcia, legendary designer Vera Wang, and daughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump.

Ivanka worked as the Vice President of Real Estate Development of the Trump Organization at the time but has since served in other powerful positions, including Former Senior Advisor to former President Trump and boardroom judge on The Apprentice. She continues to assist her father in his political endeavors and philanthropy.

Apolo Anton Ohno

Of all the athletes that have appeared as celebrity guest judges on Project Runway, none are as decorated as former Olympic speed skater, Apolo Anton Ohno. He carries eight Olympic medals with two being gold and 21 World Championship medals.

Ohno made his appearance in season 5, episode 4 ("Rings Of Glory"). In this episode, designers had to design womenswear for the 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony. Runner-up, Korto Momolu, took home the gold medal that week with a chic design that Apolo enjoyed. Since his Project Runway appearance, Ohno has appeared on NBC's The Wall and Superstore, in addition to taking home the Mirror Ball Trophy in season 4 of Dancing With The Stars.

Milla Jovovich

One of the most talented actresses to appear on Project Runway is Milla Jovovich. Jovovich served as a guest judge in season 6, episode 10, "A Tale Of Seven Cities." Each designer was challenged by Michael Kors to create a look based on one of seven cities.

Jovovich is a Ukrainian-born actress that has gained popularity from American films such as the original Resident Evil film franchise, Zoolander, 2019's Hellboy, and most recently, Monster Hunter. Her acting career has been beyond extraordinary, and it stems from her celebrated role as Leeloo in The Fifth Element. Beyond her acting career, Jovovich is a proud mother of three children, including her eldest, up-and-coming actress Ever Anderson, who played Young Natasha Romanoff in Marvel's Black Widow.

Nicole Richie

When people hear the name, Richie, they tend to think of Lionel Richie, the Grammy Award-winning singer and judge on "American Idol." His daughter, Nicole, is often forgotten about today but she had a moment in the TV spotlight with Paris Hilton in The Simple Life.

In the first episode of Project Runway's season 6, "Back To New York," Nicole was the celebrity guest judge. Designers had to make a garment from five different materials to illustrate themselves as a designer. Emilio won the challenge, but Nicole stole the show. Her fun and hilarious personality shined, just as it did when she starred as Portia Scott-Griffith in NBC's Great News. Nicole's wide range of expertise from acting to fashion is impressive and she now acts as a recurring judge on Making The Cut, alongside Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn.

Kristen Bell

Long before she became Anna in Disney's Frozen and Eleanor in The Good Place, multi-talented actress Kristen Bell starred on Project Runway as a celebrity guest judge in season 8. When she judged, designers made fresh resort-wear looks in teams of two, bringing their teammate's looks to life.

The designers had to be able to do it all, just as Bell does. She can sing, act, produce, write, host, and much more. Over her long acting career, Bell has starred in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, NBC's Heroes, Gossip GirlVeronica Mars, and Family Game Fight! - a somewhat underrated reality TV game show.

Zoe Saldana

Much like Bell and Jovovich, Zoe Saldana is a powerful, talented, and phenomenal actress. Saldana made her guest judge appearance in season 9, episode 12 ("The Finale Challenge"). The five remaining participants had to make three different looks inspired by Governor's Island in New York.

Saldana had shot to superstardom status shortly before her Project Runway appearance from her acting as Uhura in Star Trek and Neytiri in Avatar. Now, she is highly recognized for her role as Gamora in the Guardians Of The Galaxy and the Avengers films. She currently reigns as the only person to appear in three of the five highest-grossing films of all time.

Miranda Lambert

Continuing with the theme of powerful women to guest judge on Project Runway is none other than country music superstar, Miranda Lambert. She guest starred in season 11, episode 5 entitled, "A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock N Roll."

Lambert is one of the most talented and popular country music singers of all time. Her hits include "The House That Built Me," "Mama's Broken Heart," and "Somethin' Bad." She has won CMA Female Vocalist Of The Year, took home CMA Video Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Album Of The Year in 2017, and has most certainly locked a spot in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

John Legend

The most talented and popular male vocalist to make an appearance on Project Runway is John Legend. His wife, Chrissy Teigen, has a clothing line, but John is also a fashionable singer-songwriter. There is never a time when he doesn't look dapper and that was clear when he was the celebrity guest judge in the twelfth episode of season 11, "Europe, Here We Come," with his crisp, fresh-cut tan suit.

Legend has won 24 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, Tony Award, BET Humanitarian Award, People's Sexiest Man Alive, and countless other accommodations. John continues to do it all by being a loving husband and father in addition to producing new music and serving as a judge on the reality show, The Voice.

Elisabeth Moss

In the twelfth episode of Season 13 of Project Runway, "American Girl Doll," Heather Northrop, the Senior Director of Product Design at American Girl, and actress Elisabeth Moss, acted as guest judges. The designers were assigned with creating American Girl-inspired looks that were age-appropriate to the young consumers of the famous dolls.

Elisabeth Moss is an incredibly talented actress that has a very elegant sense of fashion, especially on the red carpet. She came onto the Hollywood scene when she played Peggy Olson on the award-winning series Mad Men and hasn't looked back since. Moss continues to crush it on the screen with appearances in Us, The Invisible ManThe French Dispatch, and The Handmaid's Tale.
