Five Nights At Freddy’s fans were disappointed that FNAF: Security Breach wasn’t available on Xbox or Switch at launch, leaving them wondering if Security Breach will ever be ported to Nintendo Switch. There has been no official announcement from Steel Wool Studios or Nintendo to confirm if Security Breach will release on Switch. However, it’s possible that the game will become available on Nintendo Switch after Five Nights At Freddy’s PlayStation exclusivity deal ends.

In a trailer for the game, it was confirmed that FNAF: Security Breach would be a PlayStation exclusive for the three months following its release. After this period has elapsed, Security Breach will be ported to other consoles, like Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach was released on PC and PlayStation on December 16, 2021, so the game’s exclusivity deal with PlayStation is forecast to end in mid-March 2022. Hopefully, it won’t be too long after PlayStation’s exclusivity deal ends that FNAF: Security Breach will be released on Xbox and Switch.

Although Steel Wool Studios has yet to confirm which other consoles the latest FNAF installment will be ported to, fans are hopeful this will include Nintendo Switch as other Five Nights At Freddy’s games are available on the platform, including a bundle of all the main FNAF titles. In total, there are eight games in Five Nights At Freddy’s main series, of which FNAF: Security Breach is the latest installment, and half a dozen spin-off games, including games for mobile and VR devices.

Will FNAF: Security Breach On Nintendo Switch Have Multiplayer?

When FNAF Security Breach Will Release On Switch Animatronic Character

At launch, FNAF: Security Breach didn’t have multiplayer. Steel Wool Studios hasn’t ruled out adding multiplayer to Security Breach in the future, but there are no concrete plans thus far. There’s a high demand for a multiplayer Five Nights At Freddy’s game, and the community has created fan-made games and modded versions of FNAF games that allow them to play multiplayer with friends. However, it’s unlikely that multiplayer will be added before FNAF: Security Breach is ported to Nintendo Switch unless Steel Wool Studios was keeping its cards close to its chest and downplaying its efforts to add multiplayer to the game.

The latest installment in the Five Night’s At Freddy franchise should be coming to Nintendo Switch in the near future, along with possible DLCs for FNAF: Security Breach. All of the other main titles in the FNAF series are currently available on Switch, via the Nintendo Game Store, so FNAF: Security Breach should be no exception. The game’s three-month PlayStation exclusivity deal ends in March 2022, so hopefully FNAF: Security Breach will be ported to Nintendo Switch shortly after the exclusivity deal period ends.
