Nilsa Prowant from Floribama Shore hasn't had an easy time during her pregnancy, and she's opening up on her biggest struggles. Though she was overjoyed on season four to discover that she and fiancé Gus Gazda were expecting, that excitement quickly transitioned to daily mental health struggles. As Nilsa and "Gus 2.0" anticipate the arrival of baby Gray, the reality TV star is getting real with fans about her fierce battle with anxiety and depression. She wants to shed light on these two common pregnancy symptoms that she feels aren't talked about enough.

The 27-year-old Florida native shared the news with her roommates on the current season of Floribama Shore. Naturally, her on-again, off-again fling Gus Smyrnios didn't take it so well. Nilsa's announcement caused Gus to act erratically. He fought various cast members and fled across Montana in shorts and a tank top. Smyrnios was concerned that Nilsa was moving too fast with Gus 2.0. She started living with him after one year of dating, and the pregnancy happened soon after. But following Nilsa's messy divorce in her early 20s, she knows what she wants. Gazda proposed to Nilsa in January on her birthday, and the two appear to be happier than ever.

However, there's always more to a person's life than the perfect moments shown on social media. Nilsa admitted on Instagram that her pregnancy journey hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, she's physically and mentally exhausted. She said, "I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression pretty early on in my pregnancy. I wasn't feeling like myself and I didn't even recognize myself in the mirror. There were days I did not want to get out of bed. I didn't know who I was." Nilsa realized her feelings were due in part to the recent death of her father. Still, she felt guilty for not fully appreciating all that was in front of her and decided to get help. She urged others fighting anxiety and depression to do the same. "Pregnancy is not easy, but us mothers are freaking super humans and we are doing the most incredible thing a human can do!" See the post below.

Many of Nilsa's followers applauded her honesty and vulnerability. They thanked her for bringing attention to this often-taboo topic, and shared how they're experiencing the same thing during their own pregnancies. One woman told Nilsa, "It was after my last pregnancy with my son that I got hit hard with depression. I am so sorry you are going through such rough times ... it's almost over and then on to the fun stuff." Hopefully, Nilsa's mental health improves when she's finally able to hold Gray in her arms. Fans can't wait to see the baby, as well as how her love story with Gazda unfolds.
