Floribama Shore star Gus Smyrnios has been banned from Instagram after an alleged attack on a fan and his poor attitude. After he ran away in just a tank and shorts, fans felt that this pseudo-reality star was not doing well, and his attitude has just gotten worse.

MTV tried to strike it rich again with a third spin-off of Jersey Shore. First, fans watched as young adults partied it up at Seaside, then the network moved across the pond to the Tyne where Geordie lads and lasses got mortal in Newcastle. Now, the third installment was set to show off how the South likes to party. Unfortunately, the parties and drama of Floribama Shore were not as fun as the first two series, but the show has made it to its fourth season, half in part to Gus’s over-the-top dramatics. Gus has been an intricate part of the house drama this entire season, but many viewers feel he isn’t that enjoyable to watch, thanks to his attitude.

Not surprisingly, Gus went missing for a second time after he tried to fight Jeremiah’s brother. Fans have grown extremely tired of the reality star’s antics and have been calling on the MTV star to leave throughout the current season. Now, it looks like his Instagram has been deactivated after a run-in with a fan. According to Reddit, Gus went after a viewer after they made a comment, and it resulted in his account being deactivated.

MTV viewers were appalled at how angry Gus got as he laid into a fan for her comments and privately DM’d her. He made fun of her pictures, telling the fan she looked like the donkey from Shrek. He even commented on a photo of the single mother’s son, saying, “baby would be better in foster care.”  The reality star boasted he earned six figures to make the show and bring the drama. He bombarded the social media user with obscene language and attacks on her character. Now, many feel that Gus crossed a line. The comment in question wasn’t even the worst, as all the fans told him was he needed to chill out. Viewers felt Gus was acting “immature and unhinged.”

Fans are already calling for MTV to cut him loose. Many also pointed out that he was in Hawaii and surely had better things to do than attack a lone fan. MTV has yet to comment, but it is clear to most that Gus feels he can act any way he likes. The network needs to take a serious look at its talent pool and ask if this is a person it wants representing the brand; fans sincerely hope not.
