Aimee Hall asked the question fans really want the answer to: when is Floribama Shore returning for another season? The series first aired in 2017 as a southern take on MTV's successful Jersey Shore. The show concluded its fourth season in December but has given no information on whether or not the series will be renewed for a fifth season. The fourth season was split into two parts, one in which the cast reunited in Montana after the COVID-19 lockdown and another where they went back down south to Georgia. The season followed Nilsa's pregnancy as well as the dramatic breakdown of Gus Smyrnios and the end of his friendship with Jeremiah Buoni.

A lot has changed for the cast since they concluded Floribama Shore season 4. Gus got engaged, Nilsa had her baby and a wedding, and (to everyone's surprise) Candace Rice also gave birth to a baby boy. While MTV hasn't given any updates about the fate of the show, the network has renewed Siesta Key season 5, greenlit another The Hills spin-off called The Hills: Next Gen and announced Jersey Shore 2.0. Unfortunately, the original cast of Jersey Shore was not happy about the announcement, and the cast collectively put out a statement disapproving of the new spin-off.

The cast of Floribama Shore has grown tired of waiting to hear if their show will get renewed, so they've taken matters into their own hands. Aimee responded to a tweet from MTV announcing the return of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation and the premiere of Buckhead Shore. The star wrote, "When is @FloribamaShore returning! The fans wanna know and we do too. #MTVFloribamaShore." The reality star's tweet was flooded with responses from fans agreeing that they also want answers about the show's fate.

"We need to know something, we (the fans) have been left in the dark to long, if MTV can continue Teen Mom then why can't we have more of our favorite show," Twitter user @Toddcase4 responded. The rest of the Floribama Shore cast also joined in, retweeting fans begging for MTV to renew the show and using the hashtag "#MTVFloribamaShore" to get their message across. In a deleted tweet, Kirk Medas even called out MTV for announcing a new show but not acknowledging theirs.

It seems the cast and fans are getting impatient. While the announcement of a new show is exciting, everyone deserves an answer on whether or not Floribama Shore will return. If it was up to fans, they'd already be filming the next season. Even Gus, who had some not-so-great experiences on the show, is all for filming another season. Hopefully, MTV will cave in and give the cast and fans what they want, and Floribama Shore will return to its regular schedule.
