Tarek El Moussa, the star of Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa, revealed that his ex-wife Christina Anstead was having her baby on her due date. The business partners and costars of Flip or Flop remain close due to sharing two children together and knew the exact date of the new baby's birth.
Tarek El Moussa and Christina Anstead starred in their home renovation show Flip or Flop for 7 seasons as a married couple. Now that the two have since divorced, the ex-married couple has decided on continuing onto season 8 of Flip or Flop with a new family dynamic as they continue to co-host and renovate houses together while co-parenting their two young children, Taylor and Brayden. Even though the couple is still working together professionally, the two have both moved on personally. Tarek just recently confirmed his relationship with Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young, while Christine married Wheeler Dealer host Ant Anstead. The first season of her spinoff show, Christina on the Coast, shows Christina growing her design business while starting a brand new chapter with her family, introducing fans to her new husband. She revealed recently that she was expecting her first child with Anstead.
On Thursday, September 5th - a day before Christina Anstead gave birth to Hudson London Anstead - El Moussa told Us and other reporters at HGTV’s A Very Brady Renovation premiere, he said, "Tomorrow my children are going to have a new brother." Even though the couple has moved on separately in life and began new chapters to their lives, El Moussa explains the birth of baby Hudson is still an exciting event for everyone involved, saying, "It’s all one big family!" Christina had a scheduled C-section delivery for Friday, September 6th, where she gave birth to a healthy baby boy early that morning. Christina posted an adorable, candid photo of the moment her and El Moussa's children met the new baby - see the adorable post below.
El Moussa went on to explain that their two children, 8-year-old Taylor and 3-year-old Brayden, were "actually going to visit the baby tomorrow while I’m filming, and then I’m going to be home and I’m going to get them." The HGTV house renovating expert explained that since he will be busy filming, he won't have time immediately to meet baby Hudson, he explained, "But I’m sure I’ll swing by in the next day or so and meet the baby." Even though it seemed that El Moussa spilled the beans about his ex-wife's birth, it actually was not a secret at all. Christina had posted about the scheduled C-section a week before as she was counting down the days.
The baby boy has arrived and the Flip or Flop family continues to grow it's been a joyous event for everyone involved. Now that El Moussa has moved on officially with his new girlfriend, Young, he can think of extending his family even further. In the meantime, fans can watch the HGTV stars in their element - buying and remodeling homes - as the exes continue their 8th season of Flip or Flop together. Viewers will then be able to see El Moussa in his own spinoff series, Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa, set to premiere early 2020.
