Christina Anstead, half of the duo on Flip or Flophas confirmed that her spinoff show Christina on the Coast has been renewed for season 2. After a successful first season with HGTV, season 2, a 13-episode installment, will be coming soon.

Christine, an expert real estate investor and house flipper, has made a name for herself in reality TV by joining her then-husband Tarek El Moussa in home renovation show Flip or Flop for 7 seasons as a married couple. Now that the two have since divorced, the ex-married couple has decided on continuing onto season 8 of Flip or Flop with a new family dynamic as they continue to co-host and renovate houses together while co-parenting their two young children, Taylor and Brayden. Even though the couple is still working together professionally, the two have both moved on personally. Tarek just recently confirmed his relationship with Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young, while Christine married Wheeler Dealer host Ant Anstead. The first season of her spinoff show, Christina on the Coast, shows Christina growing her design business while starting a brand new chapter with her family, introducing fans to her new husband.

Christine could barely contain her excitement as she confirmed via her personal Instagram that Christina on the Coast will be returning for a second season. She posted a picture of her in her nursery holding her baby bump with the caption reading, "So BEYOND excited to announce that Christina On The Coast has been picked up for a second season!!!" She went on to explain that season 2 will be consisting of "13 brand new episodes" that are set to appear early 2020. According to People, more than 12 million viewers tuned in to watch the first season of Christina on the Coast. HGTV president Jane Latman spoke of what to expect in season two, saying, "We will join Christina as she grows her design business and navigates relationships with her friends and family, including her husband and new baby... Everyone is rooting for her and her family as they build a whole new life." In season 1, fans got to experience the personal moments in Christina and Ant's marriage, such as them deciding to move in together and the moment when they finally walked into their new house. As Christina is the executive producer of her spinoff, she has control of what is being shown and says that what viewers see on the screen is purely her. She said, "This is the authentic me, unfiltered, just how I want to do a show."

Flip or Flop fans can watch Christina work alongside her ex Tarek, but they will be able to catch another season of Christina on the Coast, where they can see the more personal side of her life with her new husband as she creates a new home and grows their family together. Although life is very different from when she started with HGTV back in 2013, Christina has opened up her personal life to fans over these last 8 years and the sky is the limit.
