The custody battle between Flip or Flop's Christina Haack and her ex Ant Anstead continues, as they're unable to reach an agreement. Former spouses Christina and Ant have been fighting over their 3-year-old son Hudson. The Celebrity Joyride: IOU star applied for full custody this April, but his request was denied. He accused Christina of exploiting Hudson for her Instagram while actually being an inattentive mother. The Christina On The Coast star responded by defending her parenting.

According to Us Weekly, Christina and Ant were unable to reach an agreement after a 12-hour mediation. The two did agree to postpone their court date from Sept. 27 to March 2023. Us obtained Ant's supplemental declaration, which showed concern over Christina's reality TV career. The UK native wrote,“The risks for a child working on a television production set (even if that ‘set’ is Christina’s home) are innumerable and well documented.” He continued, “children involved in television production often have lingering issues that affect their welfare, worldview, and self-image, leaving them diminished and dependent upon the perceived approval of others for their self-worth." Ant wrote Hudson's childhood should be "joyful, healthy, and natural, with as few stresses as possible," adding, "this should be prioritized above creating commercial opportunity and content.” Christina's response, calling Ant's allegations "false" and "truly offensive," was obtained by People.

Of Hudson's presence on her Instagram, Christina, who has remarried to Joshua Hall, claimed her son was only in a few ads “that each took less than 5 minutes to film." She added, "they were all fun activities...such as playing with toys or making cookies...these were organic moments in Hudson’s eyes. Nothing was forced, and they were filmed with a cell phone, not a production team.” She claimed to stop featuring Hudson in ads after Ant's April filing, and she has no plans to use him in endorsements going forward. In addition to defending herself, she said Hudson's father is actually the one using him for content. The interior designer accused Ant of having a "pattern of posting our son using a product and tagging the product manufacturer as ‘fishing’ for endorsements." She added, “Ant is not currently on television and puts a lot of effort into Instagram since that is his only platform.”

Christina has two older children, Taylor and Brayden, with first husband Tarek El Moussa. She wrote that, based on her past TV appearances, Ant should know her kids are not featured that much on her shows. She even accused him of wanting his older children to appear on TV, and the only reason they didn't was because their mother refused.

Hudson does frequently appear on both parents' Instagram pages. In September, Ant and Christina posted tributes for their son's 3rd birthday. Notably, neither one mentioned, or included photos of, the other. This battle isn't the first time the California native's personal life has made headlines. In addition to her ongoing feud with Ant, Christina also publicly battled Heather Rae Young, Taylor and Brayden's stepmother.

Christina also received a lot of flack for remarrying so quickly. However, Joshua has repeatedly been in her corner, publicly defending his wife from criticism. She has gushed over his support amid the custody dispute. They even had a second wedding ceremony, where Hudson and Brayden walked her down the aisle. The Flip or Flop alum's new marriage may be happier, but it remains to be seen if she and Ant ever find common ground.
