Tarek El Moussa from Flip or Flop is about to be a married man again, and he just spilled all the details about his upcoming wedding to his fiancée Heather Rae Young. Tarek first popped up on TV screens back in 2013, showing the world how to successfully flip a home. When Flip or Flop first began, it followed Tarek and his then-wife Christina Haack as they find inexpensive ways to renovate a home, and the nerve-wracking process of putting it back on the market. The show also showcased how flipping homes can include the whole family, as it also featured the couple's children, Brayden and Taylor El Moussa.
Fans were worried the show would come to an end when the couple announced their separation in 2016 and subsequent divorce in 2018. Turns out, the two were able to separate their work partnership and their romantic partnership, as they kept the show going through all of it. Season 9 of the hit show just finished airing on HGTV and a season 10 premiere date has already been announced. Their ability to keep the show going shows there is no bad blood between the two, even as both have moved on. Christina married and had a baby with British presenter Ant Anstead, although they are divorced now, and Tarek is currently engaged to Selling Sunset star, Heather Rae Young.
It has been nine months since Tarek pulled off the most amazing proposal and now both he and Heather are ready for the wedding. In a recent interview with E! News, Tarek opened up about how wedding planning is going. While Tarek wasn't able to spill every detail about their wedding, he was able to share a little hint at the date, and whether or not his kids have been involved. In the interview he assured fans they will definitely be married sometime this year. Tarek also said his children are very involved in the planning with Taylor, as their relationship with her continues to grow.
According to Tarek, his kids are involved in almost every aspect of the planning process. His five-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter even went wedding dress shopping with Heather to help her pick out her dress for the big day. Tarek claims the couple wanted the kids to be involved because they are excited to officially become a family. Tarek was also able to give an insight into his fiancée's relationship with his kids, calling her "super mom." When asked if seeing Heather's relationship with his children blooming makes him want to expand his family with her, Tarek claimed he hasn't thought about it, but never say never.
This couple has got to be the king and queen of real estate. The question is, will either one appear on the other's show? Tarek has Flip or Flop with ex-wife Christina, and his own show Flipping 101 With Tarek. Tarek didn't appear on any Selling Sunset episodes last season, but his presence was definitely felt, as Heather could not stop gushing over him. The even bigger question here is whether or not these two real estate moguls will create their own show together. Either HGTV or Netflix needs to jump on that idea before another network or streaming service snatches it up. That would be quite a popular show!
