Star of Flip Or Flop Christina Anstead recently stated on Instagram that never in her wildest imagination did she think she’d end up a once or even twice-divorced woman. She also didn't imagine having children by two separate fathers.

In mid-September, Christina announced via Instagram that she and her husband "Ant" Anstead were separating. The couple was married in their Newport Beach, California home in December 2018. In September 2019, the couple welcomed son Hudson into their blended-family fold.

A more reflective Christina admitted in a recent Instagram post that her current situation makes her look messy, but added she's just a regular human being. She said she is working on mending her personal self and appreciates all the solid women in her wheelhouse, motivating her to get stronger and be better. As Christina opened up in her recent post, she said she never sought out a career on television. In fact, the career she intended on pursuing was in sports, as a sports agent. Yet it was the real estate industry that kept beckoning. She reminisced about the times she tagged along with her parents when they visited open houses and model house showings. Christina said she intuitively followed this "calling," which led her to get her real estate license from the local community college. At 21 years old, Christina started selling real estate, then flipping houses, which led to her television career. Take a look at her Instagram post below:

Christina theorizes her penchant for stepping out of her comfort zone by doing the unfamiliar triggers negative patterns of decision-making that may have contributed to her current marital woes. Leaping out of her comfort zone, she said, contributes her feelings of anxiousness. On the flip side, Christina said she is so accustomed to experiencing anxiousness that when it is missing, she jumps into situations to trigger that familiar feeling. She also admitted there are positive and negative aspects to her anxiety. On the positive side, her anxiety opens up new journeys that offer new dreams and pathways in life. On the negative side, her anxiousness can leave her feeling very emotional – crying, fighting, or fleeing situations.

Christina closed out her Instagram confessional on a hopeful note aimed at people who may be experiencing similar feelings of anxiety. “I appreciate the support and I hope my story inspires you to not be so hard on yourself for the decisions / choices you’ve made. We are all a work in progress.” Hopefully her reflection will help her take root in her own situational awareness as she designs a new life for herself and her family.
