Warning! Spoilers ahead for The Flash #771!

In The Flash #771, Wally West arrives in the future and is promptly led into space, only to see what can only be described as an entire speedster planet. In this issue, Wally manages to escape Reverse Flash's body from the Legion of Doom reality. He then proceeds to body hop many more times until he arrives in the future. The decision to brush over all of the other speedsters is simply a time issue, but also because readers are still in the dark about what's actually happening.

The next big stop that Wally makes could possibly be the final stop on his Speed Force journey, as he arrives at the Sanctuary from Heroes in Crisis. However, before this, Wally body hops into his future son, Jai West. Here, he meets Irey, his future daughter, who seems to know all about his current predicament. It's possible that Irey has prepared for this moment, perhaps being tipped off by Wally or someone else in the future with knowledge of the past. As Wally mentions his retirement, Irey reveals that she is a superhero which shocks the Scarlet Speedster. On top of that, she reveals that Jai is also a hero, and he's got his powers again.

In The Flash #771 by Jeremy Adams and Kevin Maguire, Irey leads Wally into space. Somehow, Irey is able to run in space, which on its own is a huge development. But what lies ahead is even bigger as an entire speedster planet is unveiled. Arguably, this is quite possibly the biggest thing to happen in the Infinite Frontier era. Why is there a lightning bolt around a planet and what's actually going on? These are just a few of the burning questions that readers will have throughout the issue. What's even more remarkable is that it isn't a singular planet, but an entire solar system full of speedster planets, as seen in the issue's artwork.

As Wally and Irey race towards the planet, she states that "the Flash Family has done alright for themselves." Irey's statement infers that the Flash Family's success has been huge enough that somehow they've garnered an entire solar system. How or why this will happen is uncertain, but one thing is certain; it's going to be huge when it's fully revealed. Before Irey is able to take Wally all the way to the mysterious planet, Wally West is stopped as he is pulled into his final destination, the Sanctuary. Could it be that the Flash Family lives on these planets? Have they somehow got their hands on an uninhabited solar system that they've molded into their own?

It's evident that this speedster planet and the future Flash Family will play some sort of role in what's to come. Whether it's revealed soon or not, at some point DC will bring it back and expand on what was teased. Additionally, there's a chance that they somehow play into Infinite Frontier writer Joshua Williamson's greater three-act plan for DC Comics. According to Williamson, most of DC's comics are set to collide as the Omniverse prepares for a Crisis event like no other, which will conclude next year. The Flash #771 is available in comic book stores and on digital platforms now.
