A new trailer and poster for The Flash preview the return of Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) to Central City. Gypsy will help Team Flash deal with The Thinker (Neil Sandilands), who has been a few steps ahead of the heroes all season.

In the last few episodes of The Flash, DeVoe has made a great deal of progress in accomplishing his goal. After stealing most of the bus metas' powers, DeVoe killed the Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer) and took his body. Team Flash lost another key member when Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) seemingly lost her Killer Frost persona. Meanwhile, DeVoe's focus on completing his mission is having a serious strain on his relationship with his wife and partner, Marlize (Kim Engelbrecht).

The CW has released a poster and a promo for next week's episode, "Therefore She Is." With the tagline "Outmatched? Think again!", the episode promises to pitt Barry (Grant Gustin) Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Gypsy against DeVoe as he approaches the final stages of his plan. The promo shows Team Flash struggling to figure out what DeVoe is working on. Barry says DeVoe is "taking whatever he wants, killing whoever gets in his way." Marlize reminds DeVoe that their plan is "to save them," while DeVoe uses his telekinetic abilities to strangle Gypsy. DeVoe reminds Marlize that they "can't save everybody."

The event of this week's episode suggests that Marlize may eventually turn against her husband. It appears that DeVoe's coldness to his wife could cause him to lose her. If that happens, it could prove to be the turning point in the battle. So far, DeVoe has outsmarted the Flash at nearly every turn. It remains to be seen if Team Flash will be able to rescue Gypsy.

According to the synopsis for the episode, Gypsy will have a "heart-to-heart" with Cisco, which has the potential to have long-term ramifications for Cisco. When her father, Breacher (Danny Trejo), made the decision to retire, he offered Cisco the chance to be the next Breacher. This leaves the door open for Cisco to quit Team Flash so that he can take Breacher's place and spend more time with Gypsy.

Gypsy hasn't been seen since she appeared as a hologram in the midseason finale. The character has only appeared in three episodes this season. Gypsy's recent absence could be attributed to Jessica Camacho being made a series regular for season 2 of Taken.

Fans will have to tune in to next week's episode to find out if Gypsy's return to The Flash will make her DeVoe's latest victim.
