The Flash Enters The Thinker's Lair in 'Lose Yourself' Trailer

Next week's The Flash will see Barry and his team find themselves in a tough position as they enter The Thinker's lair as teased via a brand new teaser trailer.

With just a few more episodes left before The Flash season 4 wraps up, fans are learning more about DeVoe's gameplan. Following a season of terrorizing Barry and those who are closest to him, Team Flash is already gearing up to take on the villainous couple to put a stop to their shenanigans. But based on what went down in this week's outing of the series, it seems like Marlize will be pivotal in her husband's ultimate defeat. Once our heroes find out about what Clifford is doing to her wife, chances are they'd take on the Mechanic and use her as their in to take down the Thinker.

The recently released trailer (via TV Promos) for the episode titled "Lose Yourself," the Scarlet Speedster and his team are finally able to sneak inside the Thinker's base, only to be met with the DeVoes who appear to be waiting for their arrival. What comes next isn't pretty for Team Flash as each member is shown either beaten down or suffering injury. But perhaps the one who's in the direst situation is Iris, who appears to be stabbed by Marlize. Check out the full promo above.

The Flash Season 4 Therefore I Am Clifford Marlize Devoe

Aside from the preview for next week's episode, the official synopsis for the outing has also been released. Interestingly, it looks like Ralph will take on the center stage in the offering as he might be the key to saving his pals from doom at the DeVoes base. It's uncertain what's his game plan, but based on the episode description, he might be willing to do the unthinkable just to save his squad.

"RALPH CONSIDERS CROSSING A LINE TO DEFEAT THE THINKER — When Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash find a way to enter The Thinker’s lair, Ralph (guest star Hartley Sawyer) considers crossing a dangerous line to defeat DeVoe. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is concerned by Harry’s (Tom Cavanagh) recent behavior. Hanelle Culpepper directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#418)."

The Thinker's days may be numbered as Team Flash closes in on him, but the saga continues for Barry and his team with a fifth year of The Flash officially ordered by The CW, alongside all other three Arrowverse series. In the meantime, fans are advised to strap on for the final episodes left in season 4 where we'll see how the season-long narrative will be resolved.
