The Flash Is In Trouble In ‘True Colors’ Trailer

The CW has released the promo for next week's The Flash, showing Barry trying to find a way to escape before he is presumably auctioned at a black market as Amunet's latest piece.

Barry's life behind bars is by no means getting any easier. After finding an ally, he once again finds himself alone and backed up into a corner. Wolfe found out about his secret identity after surveilling him via prison cameras, but that was in part because of Barry's inability to resist the temptation of using his super speed skills. With the predicament that he's in right now, we wonder if it would've been a better decision to just come out as the Flash when he was first offered the option before getting his prison sentence.

The promo for next week's episode of The Flash has been released by The CW and Barry's fate seems to only get worse. After last night's revelation about the warden of Iron Heights Penitentiary learning his best-kept secret, Wolfe will unfortunately be using the information to his own advantage as he plans to sell Barry to Amunet. As the title of the outing, "True Colors," suggest, we expect to learn more about the low-key bad guy and the shenanigans we assume that he has long been doing inside the penitentiary considering how smug he looks like while lying to Iris. You can check out the clip above.

We have faith that Iris is smart enough to figure that Barry is not in good hands. And if she doesn't have any motivation to be suspicious of Wolfe, perhaps, this is the best time to start considering how evil-looking he was while lying to her face. But knowing is just the first step to actually saving his husband's life as it also appears that he won't be able to use his super speed ability to his advantage. A quick scene in the trailer reveals that there is a paraphernalia attached to his legs that prevents him from tapping his meta-human capabilities, a shame considering that he is in an active pursuit to get out of the rut he's trapped in. Despite this, we expect that he will continue to find ways to escape or Team Flash would have to figure out a way fast to help him out of there before Amunet gets her hands on him.

It's still uncertain how all this will tie into the DeVoes' grand plan, which we still don't know much about. Although a connection between them and Amunet has been established previously after she sold Dominic to them resulting to Clifford's mind currently residing inside The Telepath's body, it's not clear if this is The Thinker's plan all along. If that's the case, it's possible that he wants to possess Barry's body and use it as his next host. Then again, it sounds a bit straightforward for a final act considering that this season's main villain has been nothing but very elaborate and enigmatic about his evil ploy.
