Warning! Spoilers for Justice League Incarnate #1 by DC Comics

The most important team in the DC Multiverse has just recruited a new Flash after the disappearance of Barry Allen. In Justice League Incarnate #1 by DC Comics, the powerful superteam end up on Earth-0, where they ask Avery Ho, The Flash of China, to join their roster. Ho wonders why she was chosen among the many Flash heroes across the Multiverse but quickly shows why she was so highly valued.

In current DC Comics continuity, the Justice League Incarnate has formed to protect the Multiverse's biggest threats. The team consists of heroes from different Earths, including President Superman, Flashpoint Batman, Captain Carrot, and Barry Allen. However, after Darkseid captured the main Flash of the DC Universe and manipulated him to crack open the Multiverse, Allen disappeared, being taken to a pocket dimension by Pariah, where he's been living out a happy life in a reality that isn't real. With Allen out of commission, the Justice League Incarnate needs a new Flash and know the perfect hero to take the important role.

In Justice League Incarnate #1, by Joshua Williamson, Dennis Culver, Brandon Peterson, Andrei Bressan, Tom Derenick, Hi-Fi, and Tom Napolitano, President Superman and Flashpoint Batman arrive on Earth-0, where the Flash of China singlehandedly takes down the villain Replicant. Thomas Wayne asks Calvin Ellis if he's sure about Avery Ho joining the Justice League Incarnate as their new Flash, to which President Superman responds that she is "exactly the Flash we need." Despite Flashpoint Batman's apprehensions (he calls Avery a *#$% fighter), Superman of Earth-23 invites her to join their vital mission.

Avery Ho Flash Joins The Justice League Incarnate

President Superman quickly fills in Ho on the Justice League Incarnate's important role in protecting the Multiverse and their current war against Darkseid. Avery is told to use the Quantum Treadmill to help find Barry, leading the heroes to Earth-8. On that Earth, they find Darkseid fighting Tartarus (a parody of Thanos). Avery immediately impresses as she teams up with Doctor Multiverse to destabilize a crack in the universe. She ends up joining the rest of the Justice League Universe in following Darkseid across the Multiverse.

Avery Ho was thrown into the fire and quickly proved President Superman's faith in her was well placed. The Flash of China helped fix a crack in the Multiverse and showed she's a great fit as the next Flash on the Justice League Incarnate. Up next for the new Flash is helping stop Darkseid as he tries to control the Multiverse - which is a hell of a first mission. Justice League Incarnate #1 by DC Comics is in stores now.
