Barbara Muschietti, who is one of the producers of The Flash film, teases when the next trailer for the DCEU movie will release. While the DCEU has continued to get fleshed out for almost 10 years, one of the films that has been a long time coming is The Flash. While Grant Gustin portrays the Scarlet Speedster on The CW's The Flash, Ezra Miller plays the cinematic iteration of Barry Allen, after being cast in October 2014. Despite being cast roughly 8 years ago, The Flash movie has been in a state of development hell as several directors and screenwriters have come and gone before IT's Andy Muschetti became the filmmaker to helm the project.

The Flash movie will focus on Barry as he tries to change the fate of his mother Nora Allen by going back in time and preventing her from being murdered. However, this results in Barry tapping into the Multiverse by accident. As the fastest man alive enters a whole new Earth, it will include Michael Keaton returning to the DC Universe as Bruce Wayne/Batman from the Tim Burton films. Keaton won't be the only Caped Crusader in The Flash film as Ben Affleck's Batman from the DCEU will make his first return since Justice League.

While The Flash was supposed to arrive in theaters this November, Warner Bros. pushed it back to June 2023, partially because of additional VFX work that had to be completed. Despite having dropped a teaser trailer back at DC FanDome in 2021, it appears more footage is on its way. Barbara Muschietti, who is a producer on The Flash and the sister of Andy Muschietti, recently responded to a fan on Instagram about a new The Flash trailer. While Muschietti wouldn't say when it will be released, she did make it clear that it will be "soon."

It remains to be seen when and where Warner Bros. will drop the latest trailer for The Flash, which finished filming in late 2021. While the studio hasn't announced any plans for San Diego Comic-Con, should Warner Bros. bring any DC film content to their Hall H presentation, that might be where they unveil the new footage for The Flash movie. As The Flash will include multiple Batmen, the DCEU product will also mark the latest cinematic introduction of Supergirl, played by Sasha Calle. Michael Shannon is also set to reprise the role of General Zod from Man of Steel in an unknown capacity.

As a new trailer for The Flash is pending, it also remains to be seen what Warner Bros. will be doing with Miller, who has had legal troubles since March. Despite multiple arrests and other legal issues, Warner Bros. is not planning on replacing Miller in The Flash film. Whether or not Miller will get to continue in the DCEU franchise after The Flash is unclear at this point. Despite still being in the post-production stages, Warner Bros. has been hosting test screenings for The Flash, which have reportedly been received very well. With a new trailer for The Flash being on its way, it will be intriguing to see what else they will reveal about the upcoming DCEU movie.
