A new The Flash set image offers the best look at Batman. Directed by Andy Muschietti, the long-awaited DCEU standalone film is currently in production. Starring Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster, it will feature the return of familiar faces such as Kiersey Clemons as Iris West from Zack Snyder's Justice League and the debut of brand new ones including Sasha Calle as Supergirl/Kara Zor-El.

That said, arguably the most interesting supporting in The Flash is Batman, as the film will seemingly not only feature one but two iterations of the Caped Crusader. Michael Keaton, who reprises his role as Bruce Wayne from the Tim Burton films, has already been photographed on the set several times, albeit not in his superhero costume. The other one, however, will be DCEU's version, played by Ben Affleck. In late July, images and videos of the hero riding in his Batcycle during principal photography in Glasgow made the rounds online. This has excited many who have been pushing to see more of Affleck in the role after his sudden departure from the franchise. Now, however, the best look at this incarnation of the Dark Knight can be seen through a new photo.

Shared on Twitter by Andy Falconer is shot of Batman riding in his Batcycle during the exterior filming of The Flash in Glasgow. Onlookers can be seen outside of the closed-off part of the street with their cameras out to record their sighting. No context, however, was given regarding the image. Nevertheless, it's such a great shot that allows fans to better dissect this version of the Bat of Gotham's cool new ride and costume for The Flash movie. Check it out below:

While it's difficult to fully make the face of the actor wearing the costume and riding the Batcycle, it's confirmed that it's a body double as Affleck isn't on set for The Flash film. Thanks to other paparazzi photos, he's been spotted in an entirely different part of Europe while on holiday. Given this, it's curious if he'll ever reprise his DCEU role sometime in the future for the Muschietti flick. This will all boil down to the extent of his involvement in the storyline. At this point, Warner Bros. is mum about its narrative, but it's expected to build on DC's own multiverse with Barry Allen coming face-to-face with another version of himself as seen in separate set images. This could result in somewhat of a reset for the franchise.

The Flash film is more than a year away from hitting theaters, so it gives it plenty of time to bring in Affleck for his supposed scenes. Assuming that he will eventually film exterior shots, chances are that he will be photographed which could give the public a better understanding of his role in the movie. Regardless of the extent of his involvement in the movie, however, fans are just thrilled that the actor can still continue playing Batman, especially with the way his arc in the DCEU suddenly ended.
