A better look at Ben Affleck's Batman costume and Batcycle have appeared courtesy of photos from the Glasgow set of The Flash. The Scarlet Speedster's solo film is set for release in late 2022 after years of being stuck in development hell and it is going to be a DCEU family affair. Ezra Miller will be reprising his role as Barry Allen alongside Kiersey Clemons as Iris West after her brief appearance in Zack Snyder's Justice League. The core duo pale in comparison to the supporting cast, though.

Sasha Calle will make her DCEU debut as Supergirl AKA Kara Zor-El, although it's unclear whether or not she's from the current DCEU timeline or another dimension. In an exciting turn of events, Micheal Keaton will also be appearing as his version of Batman from Tim Burton's 1989. Keaton won't be the only Batman in the DCEU film, though. Affleck is set to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne after becoming the DCEU's official Caped Crusader and earlier today set photos showed what looked like Affleck's Batman cruising through Gotham City on the set of The Flash.

Now, new set photos give an even clearer look at Affleck's Batman on the set of the film. While it's likely not actually Affleck under the cowl, as he has recently been spotted with Jennifer Lopez elsewhere, the photos clearly indicate it is his iteration of the character. In one of the photo's the symbol of Affleck's Batman can be seen. In another, the suit clearly looks to be like the one Affleck has donned in other DCEU films. Check out the photos below:

The extent of Affleck's role in The Flash is not yet known. With the actor having technically hung up the cape, the upcoming film could be his last appearance as Bruce Wayne in the DCEU. With the film reportedly adapting the Flashpoint comics arc, there are clearly some multiversal events going on in the film and how this will play out is one of the biggest mysteries. Similarly, how Bruce Wayne will be assisting Barry Allen on his adventure is another point of mystery and audiences will eagerly await any potential reveals about the characters in the film.

The Flash has the potential to serve as somewhat of a reset for the DCEU thanks to its messing with the timeline of the universe. Ultimately, it seems like the heroes may need to come together to help Barry Allen out of some sort of mess he's made and, as the pieces fall into place, Affleck's Batman will likely be a huge part of it. When The Flash finally hits theaters in November 2022, it may be the acclaimed actor's swan song as Bruce Wayne, but it will be the beginning of a new era for the DCEU.
