A new video from the set of The Flash reveals the first look at Ezra Miller's new DCEU costume. Miller has played Barry Allen, aka the Flash, in two movies so far (three if one counts Zack Snyder's Justice League). His first solo outing, The Flash, has endured a few speedbumps on its way to release, with production delays and creative changes all pushing the movie back multiple times. However, under the care of director Andy Muschietti, The Flash finally kicked off work back in April and remains on track for a November 2022 release.

Very few plot details for The Flash have been revealed, but it is expected to feature a version of the Flashpoint storyline from the comics. Miller's Barry will be joined by some other major DC heroes, including Batman (both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck) and Supergirl (Sasha Calle). Plus, the Arrowverse's Grant Gustin, who plays Barry on television, reportedly has a cameo in The Flash. So far much of the news about the film has surrounded the set pictures and videos that have emerged online.

The latest Flash set video arrives courtesy of The Flash Film News (who in turn got it from DC Marvel Random on Instagram) and reveals the first look at Miller in costume. As it stands now, the Flash suit is a mix of practical and CGI, with Miller's torso and legs covered in mo-cap material. However, his cowl and boots are on display. Check it out below.

As this appears to be for an action scene of some kind, it isn't surprising that parts of Miller's costume will be added in post-production. Other major superheroes on the big screen have had their suits completed with CGI, like Iron Man and Spider-Man in the MCU. There might be a full practical costume tucked away somewhere on the Flash set for the more slowed-down scenes, which would then give a better sense of its new details. Muschietti previously shared an up-close shot of the Flash costume's chest symbol, so fans can imagine that along with Miller's above look.

Miller isn't the only one whose costume has been revealed through a set peek. Keaton's Bruce Wayne look was glimpsed last month, and Calle's Supergirl costume has received much attention from fans. As production on The Flash continues, there could be more shots of the cast in action. Filming was briefly held up this week due to an on-set incident involving a cameraman; whether this video is from before or after that is unclear. Nevertheless, The Flash is making a great deal of progress, and hopefully more information about the movie will arrive soon.
