Before The Flash movie premieres in theaters this year, three generations of DC's speedster unite through the Speed Force in a new fan art. The Flash stars Ezra Miller once again as the Scarlet Speedster, with the actor's Barry Allen set to go through a multiversal adventure for the character's first solo movie. The Flash is said to include many other DC cameos from the studio's live-action history, including the return of Michael Keaton as Batman.

Artist artoftimetravel shared on Instagram a gorgeous piece of fan art that unites the three live-action The Flash actors.

The art piece unites Miller's movie Flash with the original TV show actor John Wesley Shipp, and the current lead of The Flash series, Grant Gustin. With The Flash season 9 ending the show, star Gustin and Shipp, who plays another version of The Flash as character Jay Garrick, are going to be without a home soon. However, there is one way in which the duo could return as their versions of The Flash alongside Miller.

The Flash movie is going to have its plot revolve around Miller's Barry Allen traversing the DC live-action multiverse, which opens up the gateways for an abundance of cameos from current DC movies and TV shows actors, as well as stars from finished projects. Some characters have already been confirmed to appear in the movie, such as Keaton's and Ben Affleck's Batmans, the debut of Sasha Calle's Supergirl and Michael Shannon's General Zod return.

With The Flash bringing back many different past and present DC actors, the movie's possible inclusion of Gustin and Shipp as their versions of The Flash would not feel out of place. In fact, there is reason to believe that at least Gustin will be in the movie. There have been rumors going around about Gustin making the jump from his series to the movie for some time, with The Flash director Andy Muschietti's fuelling fan speculation by following the Instagram of the actor and his TV show co-star Tom Cavanagh, who played Flash nemesis Reverse Flash. During the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths event, Gustin's and Miller's versions of The Flash meeting while traveling through the Speed Force. With both characters having already met, there is a decent chance Gustin pops up for at least a quick scene during The Flash.

There has been a major shakeup over at DC, with the foundation of DC Studios and the appointment of director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran as its co-CEOs. Gunn and Safran are currently working on a slate of movies and TV shows for the next 8 to 10 years of the DC Universe. Their plans for the DCU hinge on a reboot of the franchise, with actor Henry Cavill's role as Superman being the first casualty of the duo's vision for the DC brand. Cavill's DC exit has led to speculation over which actors will remain for the new DCU, including Miller's role as The Flash. While there has been no word on Miller's situation, the actor has dealt with several controversies over the past couple of years that do not bode well for their future as the character after the release of The Flash.
