There is a True Ending in Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach for players to unlock if they wish to do so. While the Five Nights At Freddy's series has been around for several years, Security Breach continues the series tradition of murder and mystery. Only this time, players take control of a young boy named Gregory, who has locked himself inside a shopping mall with killer animatronics. The objective of the game is the survive the night to escape. It's a game that rewards players that partake in multiple playthroughs since each attempt can run differently than the last. Boss battles, open roaming, and combat are all brand new features and mechanics to the series that directly affect how the ending will turn out.

There are six possible endings that players can unlock. As Gregory is attempting to survive through the night, he can participate in a variety of retro mini-games or story sequences to acquire upgrades. They are entirely optional, but doing them will directly affect Gregory's involvement with the story. The more Gregory interacts with the world, the more emotionally impactful the ending is. Certain endings also require players to get a certain amount of stars to unlock.

To unlock the true ending in Five Night At Freddy's Security Breach, players will need to receive at least two stars. Next, go to the Old Elevator, which will bring players down to the boss. They will know that they did this correctly if Springtrap is the mini-boss that appears. Gregory will then need to use the three monitors to burn Springtrap. There will also be doors that players can use to lock away Springtrap for a moment. After Springtrap is defeated, Gregory and Freddy escape from the mall.

  • Bad Ending: Escape the Pizzaplex building with just one star.
  • Good Ending: Players will need to have security level seven clearance and have at least two stars. After surviving until 6:00, choose to stay and exit through the 'Exit to Docks' door.
  • Unmasked Ending: Players will need to have two stars. Go to the Prize Counter at 6:00 and then go to the fire escape door and press the 'Leave' button.
  • Hero Ending: Players will need three stars and will need to complete all three Princess Quest Arcade games.
  • Destruction Ending: Players will need to find Vanny's Lair. They can do this by having a two-star rating and finishing the Fazer Blast game. Then, choose Vanny instead of exiting to unlock this ending.

Each ending is displayed with a comic strip depicting what happens with small audio cues. Players can either complete every path or find every ending online through other methods. This is likely not the last time the world will see Five Night's At Freddy's. The series continues to introduce new lore that keeps its fans coming back for more. While the actual ending is considered the canon ending, it will be interesting to see what happens of the other endings.
