The cast also includes Mary Stuart Masterson as an undisclosed villain and Piper Rubio as Abby Schmidt, Mike's sister. There are no official plot details for the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, though it will likely adapt the events of the first game.
The Five Nights at Freddy's movie is helmed by Emma Tammi with a screenplay co-written by the director, Cawthon, and Seth Cuddeback. The video game adaptation is produced by Jason Blum, who has been behind a number of successful horror franchises from Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and The Purge. After several years in development hell, the Five Nights at Freddy's movie is finally making progress, and it should be exciting to track its filming progress.
