As the protagonist of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Shez has access to two unique classes that allows them to excel as a swordsman.

Shez is the protagonist of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes and they will continue to be one of the most used characters throughout the game's story regardless of which path is chosen in the prologue. Although the character begins the game in the prologue as a Myrmidon, the mercenary's primary class is automatically changed to a Fluegel. The Fluegel class is a particular type of mercenary who wields two swords, and they possess a mysterious power and can use some magic abilities. While this isn't the class that players need to stick to for Shez throughout the Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes story, it is undoubtedly the class that will benefit them the most at the beginning of the game.

The three unique Action, Support, and Tactical abilities that Shez has are Shadowflash, Mortal Coil, and Mercenary Creed, respectively. Shadowflash allows Shez to perform a few attacks that instantly defeat non-commander units, with the chance increasing alongside hit count. Mortal Coil increases the Warrior Gauge fill rate when the protagonist's HP is above a certain percentage. Lastly, Mercenary Creed increases the damage dealt with enemies by a certain percentage when Shez is ordered to attack. All three abilities have three levels, and their benefits increase with each level gain.

The best weapon type for this character in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes are swords because the Fluegel class is unique to Shez specifically. Additionally, players will want to use gear that counters Shez's low Dexterity while bolstering their Speed and Strength. As players progress through the game and level Shez up, they'll eventually unlock Asura, which is the master version of this exclusive class. No other characters in the game can take advantage of these classes, giving Shez a distinct edge over all other sword-bearers in the game.

Abilities & Arts For Shez's Fluegel & Asura Classes In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

Although the Fluegel and Asura classes are unique to Shez, both of them level up in the same manner as all other classes in the game. New abilities and arts can be equipped from the set menu in the game as players reach one, two, and three stars in these classes. These abilities and arts will be revealed in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes as new levels are reached. Additionally, once Shez unlocks the Asura class, they'll be able to use magic to a greater extent and will continue to be strong against axe-wielders.
