In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Dorothea is a playable character affiliated with the Adrestian Empire. Her starting class is Monk, and she begins the game with a Tome. Players will discover that her preferred class is a Mage, and she has interests in singing and a little bit of everything else. Visually, Dorothea is a young girl with long brown hair and a red outfit. Players should note that she dislikes Arrogant nobles as well as herself, and she likes singing, acting, music, decorative ornaments and accessories, and small animals in the story of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

Dorothea has three unique abilities that players can utilize for combat. Prismatic Resonance is an action ability that allows Dorothea a small chance to spawn musical notes around the unit when she is performing regular attacks. If her or her opponents attack the musical notes, they will face elemental shockwaves. Dorothea's support ability is Songstress, which restores her surrounding allies' HP and Awakening Gauges when a Warrior Special is completed. Finally, Dorothea's tactical ability is Center Surge. When Dorothea attacks, this ability will increase the damage dealt to enemies by 30%.

Because Dorothea begins the game with a Tome and the starting class Monk, it is best for players to utilize her as a support character with her recovery and ability gauge restoration from the Songstress ability. Players will want to focus on weapons that either buff her existing abilities or mitigate her weaknesses in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Dorothea is not quite as good as other Mage or Priest classes from Black Eagles, so players may be interested in changing her from her starting class. Her base character stats have lower strength, defense, and movement, so players may want to equip her with the appropriate gear to offset these weaknesses.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes - How To Use Dorothea's Arts

Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes Cover Art Review

In addition to her abilities, Dorothea also has unique Arts. Combat Arts are special attacks that players use during their own phase. The Arts may increase the unit's combat stats as well as cause other in-game effects. Of note, Combat Arts cannot trigger follow-up attacks and are not linked with specific weapons. In order to learn Combat Arts in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, players will need to increase their rank in various classes. Players will be able to equip two Combat Arts and four abilities.

Dorothea has the fewest Arts in the classes Myrmidon, Soldier, Fighter, Monk, Brigand, and Pegasus Knight, with only one option at the one, two, and three-star rankings for each class. For Mercenary, Armored Knight, and Cavalier, Dorothea has four total options, with two options at her two-star rank for each class. Dorothea also has four options for the classes Priest and Mage, with two options at her one-star rank. In addition, Dorothea has four Arts for the Thief class, with two options at the three-star rank. Finally, the Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes character Dorothea has the most Arts in the Archer class with two options at each star rank for a total of six Arts.
