Similar to Wolves or Boars, Sky Jellies are a type of Wildlife creature in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1 that players can find while exploring the current map iteration of the Battle Royale Island. Those who participated in the challenges of Chapter 3: Season 4 will recall that Wolves and Boars are innately hostile entities that can be tamed and ridden for enhanced traversal. Conversely, Sky Jellies cannot be ridden, nor can they be tamed. On the other hand, they provide combat sustainment practicality instead of open-world traversal. More specifically, players can use this Wildlife species to replenish their Health and Shield.

One of the limited-time challenges that players have been tasked with in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1 is "Gain health or shields from jumping on Sky Jellies 0/50." While finding 50 Sky Jellies sounds like a monumental task, the number is actually referring to the stat points restored to one's HP or Shield meter. For instance, if a player has 100/100 HP and 86/100 Shield, interacting with a Sky Jelly will restore 14 points of Shield, causing the quest progression to go from 0/50 to 14/50.

Possible Map Location for Sky Jellies in Fortnite

For clarification, Sky Jellies in Fortnite will restore 20 points of HP or Shield to an individual, depending on which has been reduced, with HP taking priority. Furthermore, "jumping on Sky Jellies" does not mean that players must land on top of a Sky Jelly as they would on a Wolf or Boar during a taming attempt. Instead, simply touching a Sky Jelly will propel Fortnite users vertically into the air while also offering them restorative benefits.

Keep in mind that if players' Health and Shields are full, touching a Sky Jelly will not progress the seasonal challenge. Users must have taken damage from fall damage, opponent attacks, or Storm damage to receive healing from a Sky Jelly.

Interacting with Sky Jellies for the Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1 quest is undoubtedly straightforward. On the other hand, finding these Wildlife creatures on the island map can be a challenge in itself. Unlike NPCs, who tend to roam within a fixed radius of their locations, Sky Jellies will travel in small groups around a wide area, which might make them hard to find, especially in dense forests.

As a result, it is next to impossible to pinpoint the exact locations of Sky Jellies in Fortnite. Nevertheless, YouTuber Bodil40 recommends that players search the open grassy fields on the map, such as the green meadows between Anvil Square and Faulty Splits.
