Players can wield Thor's Hammer in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. This guide will show where players can find it. The Assassin's Creed series is one of the annual series that release with a drastic change with every entry. In every entry, players take control of an Assassin from different time periods. In the last mainline entry, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, players were introduced to Alexios and Kassandra as they explore the mythological history set during the Peloponnesian War. Now with Valhalla, the series takes a page from the Vikings expansion across Europe. Each entry is vastly different but stays consistent with what makes the series so iconic. Valhalla pulls more from Norse mythology with its lore and weapons. Here's where players can find Thor's Hammer in the game.

The series itself was heavily criticized due to burnout from consumers for the constant releases of the series. Players couldn't go a single year without several new Assassin's Creed titles releasing, each with their own technical issues. The polish wasn't there for the series but Ubisoft decided to take a step back and pace themselves with new Assassin's Creed titles. The last mainline entry released back in 2018 and was a massive hit. Now with Assassin's Creed Valhalla being released 2 years later, the game has been praised for its stunning visuals and narrative, but still struggles on the technical side. Here's where players can find Thor's Hammer in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Where To Find Thor's Hammer in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Players will need to head over to Hordaflyke. At the location above, the moment the player gets closer to the hammer, lighting will occur. This will become more violent the closer the player gets to the hammer. In order to lift it, the player will need to have all of Thor's outfit. Without it, nothing will happen and the player will be deemed not worthy to wield the hammer. To get the armor, the player will need to defeat the three Daughters of Lerion. The hammer itself will deal extra sun damage to nearby enemies.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is another title in the series that needed to spend more time in the oven. While the game has been praised for its narrative and beautiful visuals, it still lacking in the technical department is almost a curse the series is stuck with. While the developers are hard at work to iron out post-launch, it leaves a lot to the imagination of how the game would be with a bit more development time. Regardless, it's been one of the higher praised titles in the series so far.
