An eighth character, Fuse, who was cut from the original game, makes his debut as an investigator for the InterRegional Police Organization. But if a whole entire storyline weren’t enough for new and longtime fans alike, there is an extra hidden goodie that unlocks for players who stick with Saga Frontier Remastered to the very end.

Finding the Dev Room in SaGa Frontier Remastered

SaGa Frontier Remastered Casino Dev Room

The developers of SaGa Frontier Remastered included a return of the dev room. Located in a large building that’s reminiscent of the casino, the dev room is filled with NPCs all bearing the names of the various developers of the game. Both members of the original team, and the remaster team, Bullets, stand around and express their appreciation for players who helped make the game a reality, as well as their pride in bringing SaGa Frontier to a new generation of gamers. The game’s composer even plays with a band, and will change songs every time a player talks with him.

But how do players gain access to this one-of-a-kind location? It’s not hard, but it takes dedication. In the original SaGa Frontier, players had to beat the game with all seven main protagonists first to access what was called the 2nd Division room. However, this time around the time commitment is a little shorter. In SaGa Frontier Remastered, players have to finish the game with one of the seven original characters first. Accomplishing this unlocks Fuse as a playable character. If Fuse is selected as the protagonist for a New Game+ playthrough, after beating the game again and saving, players will find themselves dropped inside the special bonus location.

SaGa Frontier Remastered is a memorable gaming experience, one that every fan of the RPG genre should experience. Added bonuses like Fuse and the dev room make it a more attractive proposition. With the seven original characters and Fuse’s new storyline, this epic quest will keep players busy for hours on end.
