Shaymin is one of the legendary Pokemon available in Pokemon Snap. This guide will show players where they can find them. Pokemon Snap only has a handful of legendary Pokemon to capture photos of. The game alone has a bit over 200 Pokemon that are available. Each one resides in their natural habitat and players can take 1,2,3 and 4-star photos of each of them. For those looking to 100% the game, they will need all 4 of each Pokemon in the game. The higher quality of the photo, the more stars the player will get. The same can be said with Shaymin, the legendary hedgehog Pokemon from the Sinnoh region. This guide will show players where they can find them.

Shaymin originates from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Back then, the only way for players to find this Pokemon was to wait for a special event to release in their region. Otherwise, players will need to use an Action Replay, a cheating device used to input new code into the game, to unlock access to this Pokemon. Some of these events never released officially, thus locking a few of these Pokemon away forever. Now in Pokemon Snap, players will need to play through the main story to access this legendary Pokemon. Here is where players can find it.

Where To Find The Legendary Shaymin in Pokemon Snap

Shaymin Pokemon

For players to find this Pokemon, they will first need to complete the main story. Once this is done, Shaymin will begin to appear on a few different levels. Here is where players can find it.

  • Florio Nature Park Level 2 During The Day: Get to the part of the level with the Bidoof dam. If you look to the left nearby some bushes, Shaymin will be sleeping.
  • Florio Nature Park Level 3 During The Day: At the start of the course, look towards the Scorbunny to find Shaymin hiding in the flowers with some Bidoofs.
  • Florio Nature Park Level 3 During The Night: In the same location as mentioned above.
  • Florio Island Illumina Spot Level 2: Reach the point of the level where you encounter the Meganium and give it Illumina Orbs. Take a picture of it and Shaymin will jump on the top of Meganium's head. This is an excellent photo opportunity.

Legendary Pokemon are amongst the most difficult to find in the game. Players will need to pay close attention to find them all. There are only a few so it shouldn't be too difficult.
