Despite a negative initial reception, Fallout 76 is making something of a comeback now as Bethesda works to fix a lot of the glaring issues present in the game. The massively multiplayer game is still pretty rough around the edges at this point in time, but players are now able to have a lot more fun exploring its world or roleplaying with others throughout the game. There are also special events to keep players coming back for more.

Those who want to collect some interesting pieces of loot are now able to participate in the Holiday Scorched event. The event picked up on December 17th and will run until the 31st, so those who want to hop in will want to do so as soon as they can. This guide shows players all of the Holiday Scorched locations.

Fallout 76 Player Recreates Doom Level

During the course of this event, there will be special variants of the Scorched enemies that have decided to dress up in different Christmas attire. When players see these variants they will be able to take them down in order to search them for gifts. When gifts are opened they will give players a certain amount of special items depending on the rarity of the gift. These gifts can be a great way to stock up on random items or even acquire things like blueprints or caps, so its a good idea to eliminate any Holiday Scorched that are seen.

Holiday Scorched aren't guaranteed to pop up at the different locations they appear in, so players will mostly just need to get lucky while traveling around. Keep an eye out for their garish Christmas themed clothes and the sound of bells in order to pinpoint their location. Remember as well that the Holiday Scorched aren't easy enemies to bring down, so players will want to bring strong weapons and armor with them. Here are different locations where the Holiday Scorched can appear:

  • Firebase Hancock
  • Fort Defiance
  • Mosstown
  • Bailey Family Cabin
  • Palace of the Winding Path
  • Wavy Willard's Water Park
  • Tyler County Fairgrounds
  • Poseidon Power Substation PX-01
  • Relay Tower EM-B1-27
  • Wilsons Brother's Auto

  • Bolton Greens
  • Greg's Mine Supply
  • Helvetia
