Players can look forward to finding several new NPCs around the Fortnite Season 6 map when the Neymar Jr. secret skin challenges go live on April 27. For several weeks, Fortnite fans have eagerly awaited the arrival of Brazilian soccer celebrity Neymar Jr. as an unlockable skin. Like secret skins from past seasons, players will need to complete a series of challenges to unlock the basic version of the outfit, then wear the outfit and complete more challenges to unlock all the included cosmetics. To unlock the Neymar Jr. skin and a few of the cosmetics, players will need to complete quests from new soccer player NPCs found scattered around the island.
Like the other 46 Fortnite Season 6 NPCs, players will know they are close to an NPC when they see a speech bubble with three dots appear on their mini-map. They can find and speak to these new NPCs, accept quests, and even earn Gold Bars, just as they would with any of the other characters. Players need to complete a certain number of quests for any of the soccer player NPCs to claim the coveted Battle Pass skin. How to Unlock the Neymar Jr. Skin in Fortnite Season 6
At the time of writing, no information has been made available to show the exact locations of the Fortnite Season 6 soccer player NPCs. Players are likely to find them organically just by playing in matches as they normally would. They can also often consult Fortnite.gg, which contains a responsive map that may eventually show the exact locations of the new NPCs.
The first time a player finds one of these new NPCs, they should make sure to speak to them. The very first interaction completes the first Neymar Jr. challenge and unlocks the Soccer Ball Emote, which will be required when completing other challenges, and the Neymar Jr. Banner.
Like all other NPCs, players can scroll through the options for these new characters to accept one of their quests. It is possible these could be related to soccer, but they are more likely to include familiar activities, like gathering materials and making a number of eliminations.
Players need to complete three quests from the new soccer player NPCs to unlock the Matador Loading Screen. They will need to complete five to unlock the basic version of the Neymar Jr. skin. Once players have this skin, they should equip it to continue completing the challenges that unlock other Neymar Jr. cosmetics from the set.
In addition to the Neymar Jr. rewards, the soccer player NPCs will still reward Gold Bars as well. Players can use their Gold Bars at any NPC on the Fortnite map to purchase weapons and upgrade materials or hire the NPC to fight by their side.
