The Zinogre is a Royal Monster in Monster Hunter Stories 2. This guide will show players how they can find and get their own. In Monster Hunter Stories 2, players will travel across the lands to find creatures to add to their team. Beginning the story with a baby Ratha, players will continue to add more monsters to their rosters and create their own perfect combinations. This is a turn-based RPG, meaning that certain monsters work well against others, making it so players have to change their team often to counter other monsters in the world. The Zinogre is one of the strongest monsters available in the game and it will take players a while before they have access to it. This guide will show players where they can find it and how they can collect its egg.

The player will need to reach Loloska, the third region in the game before they have the chance to encounter Zinogre. Players will be able to encounter it when on the path to Mount Lavina. This is one of the monsters in the game that only spawn in a single location until it either retreats or is defeated. Eggs won't appear out in the wild either until this first encounter. Here is how players can get it to retreat and collect the Zinogre's egg.

As mentioned, players will be able to encounter the Zinogre while on the path to Mount Lavina in Loloska. It's a bright yellow and blue monster that is fairly difficult to miss. Once encountering it, players will need to make the Zinogre retreat to obtain one of its eggs. The best way to get it to run away would be to either use a Paintball or break as many parts on its body as possible. Using Ice-elemental attacks with Blastblight can do a ton of damage on the Zinogre. Once it retreats, follow it and don't let it escape. The Zinogre will then lead the player to where it keeps its eggs hidden. Grab them and the Zinogre is yours.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 is drastically different than the other mainline entries of the series. With its turn-based combat, players are able to strategize before entering battles to make them a bit easier. The Zinogre is required for players looking to collect every monster in the game. It's incredibly powerful and an excellent addition to any player's line-up.
