Electro Sacs are one of the many crafting materials in Monster Hunter Stories 2, used for upgrading a couple of gear pieces that deal electric elemental damage. Electric elemental damage has the possibility of inflicting a paralysis alignment on enemies, leaving Monsters paralyzed for a few turns and unable to attack. This status effect can turn the tide of battle, allowing players and their party to attack several turns in a row without taking any damage. Additionally, many Monsters have a weakness towards electric elemental damage, further increasing the damage potential of players looking to use electric aligned weapons.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 has a large pool of Monsters that players can hunt and hatch Monsties of, and electric elemental Monsters are in no short supply. The beginning of Monster Hunter Stories 2 doesn't have players fight electric Monsters at first. A large part of early fights sees players fighting many non-elemental, poison, and fire elemental types of Monsters. After players reach Loloska and play through the story for a few objectives, they'll begin to find new Monsters roaming free in the surrounding areas. Many of these new Monsters are electric Monsters, and while they're originally locked behind story fights players can defeat them freely at their own will to farm Electro Sacs.

How to Find (& Farm) Electro Sacs in Monster Hunter Stories 2

Tobi-Kadachi Monster Hunter Stories 2

The first time players can receive Electro Sacs from a fight a Tobi-Kadachi, a Monster that was introduced in Monster Hunter: World. In Monster Hunter Stories 2, Tobi-Kadachi utilizes its speed to attack enemies first. These attacks are often accompanied by electric elemental damage or a move that charges up electric attacks. Additionally, Tobi-Kadachi is a Monster that players can hatch. Fighting the first Tobi-Kadachi begins with the player tracking it down by following its trail to the Loloska Rocky Canyon.

After the first fight, the Tobi-Kadachi will be available to fight again in the same spot it was encountered as many times as the player chooses to do so. Players can return to a village in order to reset the encounter, along with their health and heart meter, or allow enough time to pass in the area allowing it to spawn again. Returning to a village will instantly respawn the Tobi-Kadachi, and, depending on which Catavans they have unlocked, players can use the Monster Hunter Stories 2 fast travel back to the closest spot available.

Alternatively, players can fight Khezu, Red Khezu, or the Royal Zinogre to earn Electro Sacs. These Monsters are tougher than Tobi-Kadachi, however, so fighting them will take longer without guarantee of earning an Electro Sac. Royal Zinogre in particular can be a challenge, as many players may find fighting this Royal Monster to be difficult at this stage of Monster Hunter Stories 2.
