Predator has been revealed as the secret skin in Fortnite Season 5, and, like secret skins in previous seasons, players will need to complete a series of challenges to unlock him. The ambitious fifth season of Fortnite's second chapter is well underway now, and developer Epic Games has made quite a few changes. Players can now take on quests, receive and complete bounties for NPCs around the map, earn a new in-game currency that can be traded for Exotic weapons and upgrades, and find new ways to sneak around undetected. In addition to these changes, Epic Games refrained from giving away any details about the secret skin until well into the season. Now that it has been revealed, players can grind and complete challenges to get their hands on the Predator crossover skin.
One challenge players must complete before unlocking Predator is to speak with three of the Season 5 NPC quest-givers: Beef Boss, Remedy, and Dummy. Conveniently, these three characters have at least one spawn location closest to the crash-landing site where Predator's Pod can be found. Some players might have difficulty finding Dummy if they don't know where to look, as he tends to spawn in more open, remote spaces. Where to Find Dummy in Fortnite Season 5
If players are lucky, all three of the NPCs they need to speak with will spawn in roughly the same area on the north side of the island, north and northeast of Pleasant Park. This is rare, however, and it is more likely players will need to do some traveling or complete a few matches to find and talk to them all.
Dummy has two possible spawn locations, and there is around a 50% chance for him to show up at either of these. The spawn location closest to Predator's Pod is southeast of Stealthy Stronghold, just south of the Durrr Burger food truck in an area surrounded by rocks. If he isn't there, players will next want to head to the Compact Cars landmark. This is an unmarked location east of Colossal Colosseum and west of Dirty Docks, near the river that curves between the two. He can be found wandering around the stacks of crushed cars. Players will need to use the button prompt to interact with him no matter where he spawns. They have the option of accepting a bounty contract from him at this time as well.
Once players find and talk to all three NPCs, Beef Boss, Dummy, and Remedy, they will earn the Predator spray that resembles laser sight and be one step closer to unlocking the Predator skin.
It is important for players to note that not every NPC will spawn every match. It is possible that Dummy will not appear for a few rounds. Should this happen, players will need to keep entering matches until they can get him to spawn.
