Pokémon: Sword & Shield continues to reward fans with the expansion pass with returning Pokémon from Generations One through Seven. While many players enjoyed The Isle of Armor DLC from this past summer, Pokémon fans everywhere consider The Crown Tundra DLC to be a true gem. The Crown Tundra was released in most places around the world Thursday, October 22nd. With the ability to catch Legendary Pokémon like Suicine, Regigigas, and Gyratina, players are able to enjoy Pokémon from several generations they love.

Players are sent on a Legendary Quest by Peony, who is notably similar to Chairman Rose from the base game of Pokémon: Sword and Shield. As a Pokémon Trainer, the player is asked to find the King of Bountiful Harvest, the three Legendary Bird Pokémon, and the three Regi- Pokémon. While there are many returning Pokémon to catch in The Crown Tundra DLC, Zubat will be one of the most common the player will encounter when progressing through the DLC story. This guide will assist players in finding and catching Zubat in the Pokémon: Sword & Shield The Crown Tundra DLC.

Zubat can be found in three locations in The Crown Tundra DLC in Pokémon Sword and Shield. They can be found in Roaring-Sea Caves, Tunnel to the Top, and Lakeside Cave. Zubats, as one would expect, enjoy caves. Because caves are not affected by weather, Zubats can be found at any time. Golbats can also be found in these caves. Zubat is a poison flying type Pokémon. Catching a Zubat may not be as easy as players expect. They take no damage from Ground-type Pokémon due to being a flying Pokémon. Zubat also takes double damage from Electric, Ice, Psychic, and Rock-type Pokémon. Players will need to be careful when using these Pokémon types because they could easily deal excessive damage.

Zubat evolves to Golbat at level 22. This is easily achievable by placing a Zubat in the players' party after breeding and winning some Pokémon battles to level them up with party experience point share. Breeding will be a player's best bet for receiving a good Zubat. Golbat can also evolve to Crobat with high friendship.  With The Crown Tundra providing players with all-new Pokémon, including Legendary Pokémon to capture, and new multiplayer options with Dynamax Adventures, players will be spending plenty of time within the Galar region for days to come. As of now, no further DLC has been confirmed for the game.
