Weavile is the evolved form of Sneasel, the Ice-type Pokemon introduced back in Pokemon Gold and SilverLike many of the Pokemon that received evolutions in 4th generation, Sneasel was one of the Pokemon that faded into obscurity. With new evolutions, it had its chance to return back into the limelight and become one of the biggest competitive Pokemon for that generation. It was stronger and faster than ever before and has remained viable in future titles. Now, players can obtain their own in Pokemon Go. Here is how players can collect it.

Players will need two things to evolve a Sneasel into a Weavile.

  • 100 Sneasel Candy: This can be collected by capturing more Sneasel or setting Sneasel as your buddy. After a certain distance, it will find 1 candy. Players can also use Pinap Berries during wild encounters to double the amount of candy that is collected after the capture.
  • A Sinnoh Stone: This is the harder of the two items to collect. The best way to collect one is by completing PvP Trainer Battles, defeating a Team Rocket Leader, collecting the 7th day Field Research reward, and can possibly be the Mystery Item in the Go Battle League.

The Sinnoh Stone can also be found during certain events in the game. Since it is the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon series, more events will likely provide Sinnoh Stones as rewards for completion. Make sure to check into the game's news tab for upcoming events. Pokemon Go might have its biggest year yet in 2021. Weavile is an excellent Ice-type Pokemon addition to any player's team.
