Stonjourner is a Rock-type pocket monster in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that strongly resembles a mobile Stonehenge with arms. This Stonjourner does not have any other Pokémon in its family, meaning that nothing evolves into or from this creature. This Rock-type creature possesses significantly low SpAtk and SpDef. On the other hand, it has notably high HP, Atk, and Def. Its Def, in particular, has a base value of 135, making it one of the top-ten pocket monsters with the highest Defense. Accordingly, Stonjourner is an excellent tanky combatant to dispatch against Normal-, Fire-, Poison-, and Flying-type opponents.

To find Stonjourner in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must make their way to the Asado Desert on the western side of the open-world region of Paldea. This desert is the only habitat where players can find Stonjourner, as this Pokémon does not appear anywhere else on the region's map. Newcomers can reach the Asado Desert by traveling west of the city of Mesagoza to the small settlement of Cortondo, where fans must face Katy, the Bug-type Gym Leader. Next, if players follow the main trail west and then northeast, they will eventually reach Cascarrafa, a town connected to the Asado Desert.

Finding Stonjourner in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Stonjourner Habitat Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The main challenge when looking for Stonjourner is dealing with its lack of fixed-spawn locations on the map in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. While the fact that its only habitat is Asado Desert does narrow the search for Stonjourner, players might struggle to encounter this Rock-type pocket monster since it can appear anywhere throughout the vast desert. As a result, there is, unfortunately, no easy way to pinpoint the exact location of a Stonjourner spawn. YouTuber Techno Trainer recommends that Trainers wander about the sandy plains of Asado Desert atop their Legendary until they eventually spot a Wild Stonjourner.

While there is a good chance that players catch Stonjourner with a Poké Ball on their first throw, it might be necessary to weaken the Stonehenge-shaped golem for a successful capture in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The best countering Movesets to use against Stonjourner are Water-, Grass-, Fighting-, Ground-, and Steel-type Movesets.

Pocket monsters such as Quaxly, Sprigatito, Breloom, and their corresponding evolutions are choice picks for weakening Stonjourner in combat. Once players have caught or defeated Stonjourner, there is a chance they will receive a Stonjourner Stone. According to Game8, this stone is a TM Material for crafting TMs that can be exchanged for 60 League Points or 30 Pokédollars in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
