Frillish is a Pokemon from the Unova region that has made its appearance in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can capture it. Frillish is the Ghost/Water-type Pokemon that has a different form based on its gender. The blue Frillish is the male while the pink Frillish is the female. Although, finding this Pokemon in Pokemon Go can be a bit challenging for players who don't step into the realm of PvP. Most Pokemon in the game can be found in the wild, participating in raids, or by completing special research tasks. Frillish is a bit different, and this guide will show how players can find and evolve it.

Since the release of Pokemon Go, the game has added tons of new ways to interact and capture Pokemon. The game originally began with players exploring their environments to try and find all 150 of the original Pokemon. Since then, raid battles, trading, and more Lure items have been introduced into the game to add variety to the way the players can encounter Pokemon. Frillish is the next step in introducing how players can find certain Pokemon and this time, it is tied to the game's competitive side. This guide will show players how they can find Frillish in Pokemon Go.

How To Find (& Catch) Frillish in Pokemon Go

Players will need to participate and win in the GO Battle League, which is the PvP battle system in the game. They will need to reach rank 20 of the battle league in order to encounter Frillish. The best way to rank up in the GO Battle League is to continue to win battles against other players. The battle system works very similarly to when players battle various Gym Leaders and Team Rocket Grunts. Use these skills and adapt them when battling real players.

To evolve Frillish, players will need to collect 50 candy. The best way to go about doing this is to set Frillish as your buddy and walk around with it until enough candy is collected. Rare Candy from defeating raid battles is another great way to generate candy. It might be a bit challenging for casual players of Pokemon Go to try and capture this Pokemon. PvP might not be for everyone, so it's a bit strange for them to lock a Pokemon behind trying to be the best battler. Frillish might be available in different ways in a future update.
