Crobats, the third Zubat evolution, can only be found in its fully evolved state in Max Raid dens in Pokémon: Crown Tundra. These raids will have players taking on Dynamax Pokémon in succession for an opportunity to take them home, or even use them for the rest of the battle to replace their starting Pokémon in the raid.

How to Catch a Crobat in Pokémon: Crown Tundra

Pokemon_ Crown Tundra Max Raid

There are five different Max Raid dens in the Crown Tundra that players can traverse in order to find the Crobat: Frostpoint Field, Giant’s Bed, Frigid Sea, Ballimere Lake, Dyna Tree Hill. During Max Raid battles, players will be able to choose one of two paths representing Pokémon types. These Max Raid dens work similarly to Max Raids in a Wild Area. To continue with the raid, players will need to defeat the Dynamax Pokémon guarding the path, and will be given the opportunity to capture the Pokémon after the battle.

Another way to get a Crobat in Crown Tundra is by capturing a Zubat or Golbat and evolving it to a Crobat. To catch a Zubat or Golbat, players will need to travel to the Giant’s Bed waypoint and travel to the Roaring-Sea Caves. Within the cave-tunnel, take a right in the water, and then another right on land. Follow the path in order to reach the Zubat and Golbat spawn point. Start with the Golbat in order to only go through one evolution process to collect the Crobat.

Whistle to attract the Pokémon and battle it. Put it to sleep or weaken it in order to capture the Pokémon. With the Pokéball in the bag, feed the Pokémon berries or play with it until it is hungry for curry to raise its friendship level. Once its friendship level is high enough, players will get to witness their Pokémon evolve into a Crobat.

With two different ways to add a Crobat to their Pokédex in Pokémon: Crown Tundra, players will be able to quickly capture the bat-like Pokémon for their collection. Keep an eye out for special Pokémon and Galarian Pokémon forms introduced in Pokémon: Crown Tundra.
