This is also the first time players will be able to encounter a Shiny Buizel. Here's what players can do to increase their chances of finding a Cranidos.

How To Find and Catch Cranidos in Pokemon Go (Sinnoh Collection)

The starter Pokemon are amongst the easiest to capture for this challenge but Carnidos and Shieldon, the fossil Pokemon, are a bit more challenging. Here are a few ways to increase your chances of finding one.

  • Encountering it in the Wild.
  • Using an Incense to increase the spawn rate of Pokemon. From experience, Carnidos spawned 3 times within the hour the Incense was active.
  • Completing the "Win 2 Raids" Field Research. Players will be rewarded with either a Cranidos or Shieldon encounter.

From experience, the best thing to do would be to use an Incense. It might be a bit harder to go outside and find Pokemon in the wild or by completing raids due to the situation surrounding COVID-19. Players can complete this challenge from the safety of their own homes. Incenses can be purchased from the PokeShop using PokeCoins. If players are interested in completing the Sinnoh Collection challenge, investing a few bucks into the game never hurt anyone. Players will be rewarded with an exclusive medal for completing the Sinnoh Collection challenge.
