How To Find (& Catch) Abomasnow in Pokemon Go
Abomasnow can be captured in three different ways in Pokemon Go.
- Encountering It In The Wild: This rarely happens, but players can find an Abomasnow randomly in the wild. It usually appears during snowy weather.
- Mega Raids: Mega Abomasnow can be found in Raid Battles. Upon defeating it, players will be able to capture the regular Abomasnow during the capturing mini-game.
- Evolve Snover: Players can encounter a Snover in the wild by using a Glacier Lure Module to increase the spawn rate of Ice-type Pokemon. Snover will then need 50 Candy to evolve it into Abomasnow. Players can increase the amount of Candy they get by using Pinap Berries to capture more Snover or setting Snover as your buddy.
Alternatively, players can trade for a Snover or Abomasnow with another player but this will take tons of Stardust to complete this special trade. Regardless, players will want to collect this since Mega Abomasnow is perfect for taking down Dragon-type raid battles.
